It very much depends on where you live. Spainish-speakers are the second most populous group in the United States. Personally, I would learn Spanish.

When you say Deutch do you mean German or Ducth?! Anyway your question really depends on where you want to live and work If you want to live and or work in Europe or even Africa then French is definately the best of the three languages to know after English but if your heart is set on the Americas or the Caribbean then go for Spanish as it is an up and coming language in that area. German is also useful but really only if you're thinking of working in Eastern Europe (from Switzerland, Germany and Austria eastwards it is a main language.) But don't always think about how 'useful' a language can be to you. Learning any language is amazingly rewarding! Hope this helps!

A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the Internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of on line courses, which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt

When you can speak German, Dutch is very easy to learn. Dutch is my native language and it resembles a lot to German, a lot of things are the same, but Dutch is quite hard I think. And only about 40 million people in the world speak it (in the northern part of Belgium-where I live- in Holland and in Suriname). Afrikaans resembles a lot too, you will be able to understand it and people will understand you there.
A lot of people speak or can speak French or Spanish. But it depends where you live, when you live in Europe I would learn French but when you live in the USA, it is more useful to learn Spanish I think. But of course, when you live in Australia or somewhere else where there aren't a lot of French or Spanish people, I would learn French, because it's a very beautiful language I think. When you prefer a Germanic language, learn Dutch. : )

The French people still think that their language is the one used for diplomacy.
Wrong.
The most widely spoken language is Spanish.

Unless you're planning a career in science, definitely choose Spanish. The Spanish speaking population is booming, and it will be useful to know Spanish.

Simply in terms of how widely it's spoken, by how many people and in how many different countries, Spanish is much more prominent than the other two combined.
