At the very core of my faith yes, there are absolutes.

But faith is an anchor to secure us in a troubled world.

It should co-exist with science, and yet prevent science from becoming a religion unto itself, because science knows little, and new hypotheses and theories are invented daily.

Perhaps religion and science should be a system of checks-and-balances, to advance the civilization without falling away from God.

Personally, I am a Seeker.

Namaste.

By definition faith has to be absolute. Faith does not see reason, rationale or logic. Every one says his or her faith is total and absolute. However sometimes, in adversity when whole world turns against you and no one believes or understands you, you start doubting your faith and in whom you have faith. It happens for some time only. Hopefully you get back to your faith soon enough.

Absolutely. Faith is just that....faith. A person has faith because they believe that thier chosen faith is the undeniable truth. The Bible says that even the rocks and trees declare the Glory of God.

No.

I believe all faith to be correct and true for the individual adherents. What may be right for one may not be so for another. There are many faiths, because there are many different peoples with many different traditions.

Nope.
Easy for me to say since my faith consists human kindness,
no support for organized religions , and a hint of the flower power of the sixties.

we are to have faith just as God does, though we can never be as faithful as He is. God said "I am who I am" to Moses, simply rebuking all other questions about His identity. Jesus rebuked the storm and then went on to tell them to have faith.

It's not easy, but in short, have faith in your faith.

Anyone who says their faith is absolute is lying.

Faith is not absolute, for it is not knowledge.

It is blind, unsupported belief, by definition.
