Bear with me, this is a religious question. A lot of religious people I know have said that it is a sin to date. But then how do you get married?

I am praying to God for a husband. There is one guy that I really like. I know he is attracted to me but we have not dated yet. I have been praying that God will use his miraclous power and move every mountain that is between us.

The bible says "He that findth a wife findth a good thing." Is it wrong for me to pray that he is my mate? Does anybody else also have a testimony to ad to your comment about my question.

Kind of like a goal to becoming a better person,
we have cake his picture and a big dinner and open the presents / goals We will give Jesus that year its lots of fun.
Kids give a note stateing I will be kinder to my sister or help my little brother or remember to say my prayers.
Adults could donate more time to the poor and shush etc
Nothing really to buy just to share.

A man wearing a black trench coat approaches you in a park, shows you a small box with a happy face button. He tells you if you press the happy face, someone that you don't know somewhere will disappear and you will receive $1 million dollars. You wonder if you accept, will he make the same offer to someone else, and you disappear. He assures you that this box is one of a kind and will be destroyed once you press it, no one will be the wiser and you walk a way with a million. But if you don't press it, he'll make this same offer to someone else, and you might disappear, unless the next person doesn't press it either. What do you do?

sisters In Christ but talk about me and hold grudges and are prejudice of blacks. You name it. I have seen it. But, for some reason,I still get upset if someone says anything against God. Why is all this happening?

I think that I am bi-curious, but I don't know for sure if I am bisexual because I have never had any homosexual experiences. I mean, girls turn me on and all, but I think I'd like to kiss a guy, just to know for sure. What should I do and how should I go about doing it?

Don't just skip right to "both." Really think about it. It is certainly possible to say racist things when under the influence of rage without actually believing what you said. It goes back to that old childhood phrase, "Sometimes adults say things they don't mean when they're angry." Is that the case with Mr. Richards? I'd like to know what you have to say.

... I'd slap her across the face. she ate ice cream, so I slapped her across the face. Child protective services arrested me. Isn't it stupid how child protective services doesn't understand that she had a choice to get slapped or not get slapped?

(Unless you're stupid, you know this does have to do with religion)

Atheism is frequently called arrogant. Yet, I would ask, is it really more arrogant than claiming one is in regular dialog with the creator of the universe? And that if you disagree with them, you actually disagree with God?

Which seems more arrogant to you?

My husband and I both have large families. We have a total of 36 family members (not including each other or our daughter) to buy gifts for. This is parents, grandparents, siblings, and childrens gifts. Even if I only spend $20 per person, that adds up to $720 and I would like to spend a little more on my parents. How can I decrease the spending without seeming cheap or like I don't care. I just don't think Christmas should cost so much. No one else seems interested in changing things other than a few family members who are struggling just to have food and a home (they have already said they aren't buying gifts at all). I did consider giving a very nice Christmas gift to the least fortunate ones in the family and giving everyone else a card stating I had made a donation to charity for them. Any other suggestions?

Yes, there sure have been iimprovements since America kicked G-d out of society! it used to be great before "seperation of church and state" was misused and G-d started to be kicked out of the American lifestyle.

Examples
Alcoholism up, drug addiction up, porno addiction WAY up, violence in schools way up, guns in schools "founded", homosexuality UP, economy DOWN, etc. etc.

Why is it people think one more step AWAY from Jesus could possibly be the answer? And then they say because of "logic".

Look how it was before all of this. These moral issues were hardly a problem. America was spreading the gospel and being blessed.

Where exactly does your "logic" come from? If you dont have the open mindedness to even ponder this, please just take your 2 points and type "2 points"

Blessings, may He help us all.

Isn't it obvious that it is true? All the prophecies of the glying spaghetti monster have been later met in the gospel. Sure there are some that haven't happened, but that is because they are meant to be taken metaphorically or will happen in time for his second coming.

I am in a club planning an Imbolc celebration (we have to get paperwork in soon) open to the entire campus. Several of our members are not pagan, but some of us are. We're trying to do something that includes pagan traditions without doing a public ritual so that everyone can enjoy it. Any suggestions?
