I'v never met a trucker yet (I'm married to one, father in law is one, and worked at a truck stop for 14 years) that doesn't like flannel shirts. I'm kinda sick of seeing them, but if that is what they like! And they never wear a sweater. Also they like stuff for their trucks. Like a new thermos for coffee. Maybe even a little coffee maker you plug into a lighter. (Don''t know what kind of money you can spend) Or, dvd's if he has a player. A cooler for snacks. Maybe even just a boat load of snacks to last forever. A new pillow, sheet and blanket for the bunk if he uses his. A nice picture of the family he can carry with him. You can also go to some of the better truck stops and they have so many neat and unusual things. I'm sure you would see something there. My mom got my hubby a really cool clock with a truck on it one year from there. Well, hope some of this is of some help.

I'm guessing you mean a long-haul trucker. Here's a few ideas, many of which would be available at a truckers' supply store or even a regular truck stop:
A new cover for his steering wheel and/or truck seat.
A new toiletry bag.
A small manly-looking tote to put that toiletry bag -- and his toiletries and PJs -- into.
A set of tiny magnetic picture frames with the family's pictures in them so he can put them in his truck.
A coffee maker or coffee server that plugs into the cigarette lighter.
A subscription to a magazine he'd enjoy.
Books he'd like on CD or tape.
A CD of all his grandchildren speaking or reading or singing.

my dad used to be a long-haul trucker, now he's just local. But you can never go wrong with a good travel bag, gift cards for national retail stores: wal-mart, target, starbucks, or even grocery stores so he can buy things he needs without worrying about the cash, a good ice chest(if he prefers to take food with him), an alarm clock, coffee thermos, blanket or sleeping bag, even one of those massager things that go on your seat, to help with the long driving. I hope these ideas help.
