This was inspired by the Oprah question that's featured about how you would help a stranger if you had a thousand dollars to spend on them. Realistically, the vast majority of us don't have and likely will never have a thousand dollars to spend on a stranger, so my question is: What can you do right now, for free of for a small amount of money, to help someone else?

It can be something like shoveling a friend's driveway or clearing snow off a neighbor's car, or donating old blankets to a shelter, or calling someone you haven't talked to in a long time. It can be a stranger, but it doesn't have to be.

So, what would you do? And if you have the chance, go do it!

if i inhale water i will drown, jump into lava i will burn. these things i know will happen so im not going to test them out, it would be stupid. so why then do christians go on about god being all knowing and then tell you that this life is a trial devised by god to test your faith. an all knowing being would know the outcome of any test in advance. why bother?

Ok, What would you do if you were completly in love with someone and you were in love for the first time ever. You know that the other person feels some what the same way and you're tired of running. You haven't seen them in several months but you talked to them a couple of times. No real conversations per say but just general conversation. I haven't completly come out of the closet yet but I have accepted who I am. My only thing is that I haven't really told anyone about it ( my family in particular) but I really really want to see where this goes. They are like my other half. :) I think about them everyday. Should I just make a real one last go at it or should I just give it up? I'm sort of shy and stupid when it comes to this sort of thing. After all I am new to all of this and this is my first time being in love. What to do? What to do? What to do?

I find numerous posts that ask why atheists attack Christians. I see the same answer over and over again. Christians started all the wars. Christians force their religion down other's throats. I'm just curious. Have I ever been like that to any of you? I am truly asking because it is never my intent to antagonize or hurt anyone. Thank you for your honest input.
