Both. Maybe a few black people settle to avoid possible discrimination. I know I've had crappy jobs because I thought other people would assume I was stupid and treat me like the office idiot.

Neither.
Minorities have been sitting on their asses for years waiting for welfare checks from the democratic party.
It's not happening so now they start crying about slavery reparations.
You start off poor and you work your way up. You don't start off poor and then stay out of real work using poverty as an excuse. The politically correct educational system in the United States is easier for minorities than for whites these days. They've been given all this and it still isn't enough; no, they have to whine even more by complaining that the employment system is discriminatory. Try that excuse the next time you are denied a job! Liberals encourage this behavior.
Get a life. That's what should be said to these people. Imagine your forty year old son knocking on your door begging for money.

if you go to college you can get a better paying job. if you learn a trade you can also get better pay. it has nothing to do with race. it has to do with knowlege of the job and if your good at it or not and if you acually do your job or screw around half the day. i have seen black doctors, lawyers, loan officers, and so on and so on. they get payed good because they have a higher education and are qualified to work a better paying job. dont just say "oh its because im black" that stuff dont really matter anymore. it doesnt matter who you are or what color your skin is. what matters is what papers you have to prove that your smart enough to deserve a better job. that goes for everybody. so if you want more money quit whining and set some goals and make it happen. no one is going to give anybody free handouts. if you want somthing in this life you gotta work for it, bottom line.

I don't think so....I'm in medical sales and my boss, who is awesome is black and my co-worker, who is also awesome is black. Both are performers, communicate well, speak eloquently and are team players that are fun to work with....and give great fashion advice. I'm a white female age 38....So, don't settle....lots of people settle, if anything if your black educated and hard working you will go further that your white counterpart..so go for it I love my brothers at work.....they always have a good well thought out answer with no tricks and no far fetched ideas......very pragmatic
