I am praying to God for a husband. There is one guy that I really like. I know he is attracted to me but we have not dated yet. I have been praying that God will use his miraclous power and move every mountain that is between us.
The bible says "He that findth a wife findth a good thing." Is it wrong for me to pray that he is my mate? Does anybody else also have a testimony to ad to your comment about my question.

Continue to pray, but be prepared that when we ASK things of God, sometimes the answer is "no." It is always for our own good, for what we want and desire is often not what we truly need.
Pray. Ask. Seek. If the answer is "Yes," then bless you both. If the answer is "No," however, have faith and move on.

Interesting side note. I dated a guy in high school that said God told him he was destined to marry a this girl, Mica. I don't have a problem if you have a relationship with God, but when he starts to talk back to you and promise you someone else then there might be a issue that needs to be examined. Needless to say Mica never even went out with him and he is still single.

Every mountain between you? What mountain? You like him, he likes you, what's the problem? Stop praying and ask him out. God isn't going to have you wake up married tomorrow, you have to actually do something.

I agree. God isn't necessarily going to hit him with the cosmic cattle prod. You might have to take a little action here. Just make sure you're both going the same way in that yoke.

Yes, it's okay to pray to God about it. God has to agree before I marry a girl.

God has someone for you. May not be the fellow you're interested in. Make sure you marry a Christian. "Be ye not unequally yoked."
