Christians and Muslims have been told not to believe in rebirth. But Hindus including the Buddhists do believe in rebirth.

Recent scientific researches by the Dean of the National Cancer Institute at Bethesda, USA shows that God gene VMAT2 is connected to our Spirituality which is not inherited; rather it is connected with our deeds in the previous birth.

Now, there should not be any doubt about the rebirth.

If you are speaking spiritually, Yes. There is a spiritual re-birth (so to speak). When you repent of your sins and ask for God's forgiveness, then you are concidered to be re-born (spiritually). The old person is left behind and a new person emerges. There are soooo many ppl who take the bible and all of it's passages in an Earthly sense. It is supposed to be read in a spiritual mind in order to understand it. And noone, I repeat, NOONE will ever completely understand everything in the entire Bible. It just isn't ment to be so.

Yes and no. There is a spiritual rebirth, but not a physical one (as in the sense of reincarnation.) Jesus told Nicodemus, "...Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). When Nicodemus questioned this, asking, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" (John 3:3), Jesus answered, "...Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again." (John 3:6-8)

The Bible also says "...As it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: so Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation" (Hebrews 9:27 & 28).

Hope that answers your question! God bless!

Indians believe that humans are the final stage of reincarnation for souls. If you live your human life well, then you will be received in heaven, otherwise you start all over as some other species and try to earn your place again. I like this idea. It reflects a really caring God who wants all of his people to eventually come to him no matter how long it takes them. I don't know if I really believe in this but it does make a whole lot more sense to me than the whole heaven or hell thing.

Jesus said that unless a man is born again, he can not see the Kingdom of God. Nicodemus thought Jesus meant a physical rebirth but the Lord made it very clear that He was referring to a spiritual rebirth. "That which is of the flesh is flesh and that which is of the spirit is spirit" and "Unless one is born of water -physical birth- and Spirit, he can not enter the Kingdom of God". John 3:1-6

The Hindus say we have been re-born over 8 million times to reach human form.

Sounds good to me. Fits with evolution, so...
