Go out to dinner at a restaurant with out a reservation? No so bad with groups under 6 but over 6 people should make the restaurant aware they are coming. Don't you think?

Abomination to the Lord????!!!!
you know what the LORD said about it and you still try to NULLIFY the Laws of GOD?
Leviticus 11:9-12 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

9These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.

10And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:

11They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.

12Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

and please dont tell me that LORD Jesus abolish the laws
for Jesus said
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them" (5:17)

DON'T BREAK THE COMMANDMENTS!!!!!

Amen!!

i have found that the stereotype of being "cool" is overulling persoanilty and real character. There is often a division between groups. Cool peoplpe are usually vain and self centred, but the "rejects" tend to having something to them, they arent hollow and boring. Appeatrances can certainly be decieving and it is so horrible for the others to be outcast for their looks. Does anyone lese find this? give me your opinion please! Can it be tolerated? Is Emo cool or sad? Thnx

Take this whole evolution thing for example. It is a very established, documented, and near completely proven theory, yet something like 50% of Americans deny it as being true. Personally I find this astounding and a little sad. Is this effect partly to blame for America's decline from the top of the list on education?

We all know that there are some who think the christians are silly for believing in god and all that that entails. Many of us have rolled our eyes after reading some particularly pious statements that strike us as completely off the wall.

After doing some catch-up reading out here today, it struck me that I'm more saddened (among many other things) by references to satan than I am by just about any other christian concept, no matter how wacky it may appear to me.

Although I belive in neither god nor satan, I find that I'm more appalled by those who see the devil everywhere (in hypnosis, in psychic phenomena, in yoga...) than I am by anyone spouting gospel 24/7.

So apparently god has more credibility for me than satan. Where do you stand?

My sister was molested 30 years ago when she was 6 by a relative - my dad beat the crap out of him, but did not call the police. We lost touch with his family but I have recently found out that he is now a respected professor of education at a well known university and has teenage children. I feel like telling someone that he should not be around children or adults. What would you do?

I'm beginning to think that being too accepting can even have it's faults. I used to try to be more open minded in conversationa nd such, but people just seem to step on you for it and you get no respect unless you stand your ground more... it hardly makes sense. What are your thoughts? Is open mindedness wishy-washy or should you just find a perfect balance between standing your ground and respect?

Many religious people on this site make the statement that morals all derive from religion and that without religion and morals, we would all devolve into axe weilding mad men killing each other.

America is a First World continent. Europe is also a First World continent. The main difference between Europe and America is that America is still very religious, while Europe is mostly secular now.

Interestingly, in the country where religion still rules, we have the highest murder rate per capita, highest rape rate per capita and the largest prisoner population for violent criminals. For all our Godliness, we tend to commit more crime and murder, and rape more people than "Heathen" Europeans with no God or religion.

Can anyone religious people explain why this is so?? Im not interested in the response that man chooses evil....why dont the godless Europeans choose evil as well?
