i have found that the stereotype of being "cool" is overulling persoanilty and real character. There is often a division between groups. Cool peoplpe are usually vain and self centred, but the "rejects" tend to having something to them, they arent hollow and boring. Appeatrances can certainly be decieving and it is so horrible for the others to be outcast for their looks. Does anyone lese find this? give me your opinion please! Can it be tolerated? Is Emo cool or sad? Thnx

having emotions is part of who you are. no human is emotionless unless they are autistic (have troubles relating to people). everyone has the need to be loved, appreciated, and cared for...we all want to succeed..be SOMEBODY and not a NOBODY..we want to feel special.

it's completely normal to need all those things stated above and you might get "mood swings" because or love, pressure, anxiety or confusion..etc..you might cry, get angry, scream hit stuff etc..

those things don't make you weak..we all need to get rid of negative emotions somehow..

but pretending to be strong to please your friends, letting them/others walk all over you..and letting them force you do things and giving up to them?

THAT MAKES YOU WEAK

Having emotions is natural; being impulsive and not being able to control your emotions can be weak.

Controlling your feelings doesn't mean that you don't have them; it simply means that you have enough self-control not to over react, or to other wise get carried away by feelings that one forgets all logic and common sense.

As for the popular people, forget them. When they get older, they will have a harder time getting through life when they realize that the things that made them cool as high school students no longer counts in the business world.

Emotions are wonderful, how can you experience life without experiencing emotions? Could you imagine what it would be like to live life without experiencing LOVE??? Love is one of the greatest gifts we have, what about laughter, joy and sadness. You would be a stone cold & heartless without emotions. What fun would that be? From experience vain, shallow and self-centered people are mean, cold calculating and lonely. When you treat people badly only bad things can happen to you. If you do good things, good things happen. All of this is part of being EMOTIONAL!!! God bless!!

Emotions are wonderful -- there is absolutely nothing wrong with having and displaying them. Everybody is emotional -- its just that people display their emotions in different ways based on how they were raised and their personality. Don't ever be afraid of your emotions -- if more people displayed their emotions openly, its quite possible that the world would be a gentler place.

Republicans are basically involved by people who make their judgements totally on emotion... and not on mind to boot. it relatively is all nicely and sturdy to "care" for others, yet once you do no longer evaluate the implications of your movements in attempting to look after others, you stand an quite sturdy threat of wounding somebody else interior the approach... possibly even the very human beings you attempt to assist. The Welfare gadget is a great occasion. interior the approach of attempting to look after undesirable human beings, the government relatively destroyed the black relatives via making fathers beside the point... even a detriment. it relatively is called the "regulation of unintentional effects" and you will possibly do nicely to study up on it.

I always abide by the rule I formed myself - always think with your brain and not your heart.

Emotion can be very illogical at times and that doesn't go down well with me. Rarely do I ever use emotion to judge things instead of logic. It's not that I'm cold, its just that its how I live my life and I'm happy.

I'm a very emotional person and far from weak, having emotions does not make you weak at all, it shows you care and have a heart, nothing big or clever about been cold hearted and emotionless.

i am not sure if i could classify emo as cool or sad but i can say that i agree with your other statements. most of my life i have been closely associated with those in the lower echelons....never ran track or went to keggers. just good friends who weren't afraid to help me feel what i was feeling. it is hard to have a meaningful relationship with people who don't understand you or even want to. give me a friend who is in it to win it anytime.

It's not weak to 'have' emotion - unless the emotions control you. We are ALL emotional creatures. Your 'cool' people are simply trying to convince themselves that they are not affected by what is an integral part of who they are.
