"No rest for the wicked" is a phrase originating from the Book of Isaiah, 48:22 and 57:21. It may also refer to:
No Rest for the Wicked (Ozzy Osbourne album), an album by Ozzy Osbourne
No Rest for the Wicked (New Model Army album), an album by New Model Army
No Rest for the Wicked (webcomic), a webcomic by Andrea L. Peterson
No Rest for the Wicked (Helix album), an album by Helix
"No Rest for the Wicked" (Godsmack song), a song by Godsmack on their album IV
"No rest for the wicked" (Cypress Hill song), a song by Cypress Hill
I agree with OZZY!

Well, I agree with the guy above who said that the wicked are constantly working harder than they need to, and they are busy doing things they shouldn't, and they don't rest on the day God set aside for them. But as far as Hell goes, I don't believe that the wicked burn forever in eternal torment. In fact, you won't find any Biblical support for an eternally burning Hell. This skewed idea of Hell comes from ancient Greek (and Roman) paganism, not from the Bible, and its use as a doctrine has done more to drive people away from salvation than anything else in history.
The Bible tells us that Hell is not currently burning, but that it will exist at the end of the post-advent millennium. When Christ returns, He will collect his believers, both alive and dead (resurrected). The Wicked dead will remain dead and the Wicked living will be slain. The Earth will lay in ruins for 1,000 years, covered with millions of corpses. At the end of the Millennium, Christ and his Saints (all the saved) will return again, and resurrect the Wicked for judgment. Then fire will come down from Heaven and consume them, including Satan (he will not be tending the fire!). Those with few sins will be consumed instantly, while the Hitlers of the world will suffer a little longer. Eventually, all the wicked will be destroyed and they will never live again. The fire will eventually burn itself out. The world will finally be purged of sin and sinners once and for all - then God will re-create the Earth the way it was in the beginning, before sin happened.

This is going to sound really mean:
There is no rest for the "wicked" (assuming they really are wicked) because religious people work thier hardest to give them bad days and tell them that they are condemned to a fire existance after death.

I do believe that. Wicked ways tend to be shallow and are harder to get fulfillment from.
Therefore one has to be more active to achieve that brief euphoric feeling before the emptieness and the striving begin again.
It is a perpetual cycle temporary pleasure followed by a feeling of emptiness and the need to repeat.

Its an aside/comment passed by someone doing hard toil.
---- they must have done something wrong in their past/ or past life . It explains why they are having to toil so hard.
It makes as much sense as No pain. No Gain.
Anyway any sane person knows that the wicked are sunning it on their ill gotten gains in florida or spain.

The 'rest' that is here spoken of, is the Sabbatical rest, which God gave to mankind on the seventh day of creation, and all who would enter there in are the ones who get the Sabbath blessing of God.

Sure, but who said life should be about resting. That's no fun. I'll rest when I'm dead.
