Was Christian mythology borrowed from Greek mythology which borrowed from Egyptian mythology which borrowed from Babylonian mythology which borrowed from Sumerian mythology which borrowed from the mythology of primitive sun-worshippers?
Is the daily rising and setting of the sun and its movements in the sky the ultimate basis of the life, suffering, sacrifice, death, burial resurrection mythologies of ancient and modern religion?

worship on a sunday? what about Adventist? "without the solar, all existence in the international would perish. And, in Christianity, without Jesus (the son/solar), all souls in the international would perish. " by technique of your reasoning, each and every thing is a solar cult because we won't be able to do something without the solar. seem im gonna help you out the following (in basic terms have the want to make this sparkling, i imagine it really is done garbage), the idea is that the Catholic church is a solar cult. a million, the sunday aspect 2, go searching st paul's basilica, what do you spot? obelisks, the ultimate solar worshiping monument. 3, halo is a solar disk 4, after saying a pray what's asserted Amen, some imagine they its in basic terms yet differently of exclaiming Amun who's the governmentGod in Egyptian mythology. so in case your going to run with this stupid theory that Christianity is a solar cult, a minimum of use good factors. like quite son=solar? without the solar? mild of the be conscious? the position did you arise with those, more effective importantly how lengthy did it take you to come back up with those, more effective than your prepared to admit? EDIT h?lios huiós did not Christianity originate from round Israel and Jordon, not Greece?

I like your theory on how religions are based on the sun, and I'm sure there are pagan religons that have sun-worship but Christianity is based on an individual believing that Jesus "Christ" was born of a virgin mother, was sinless, and died for man's sin and the resurrection on the third day after his death.
There's alot more to Christianity, and the different doctorines are endless but the common denominator to all the nunance is belief that Jesus was the Son of God, Man is sinful and Man's only redemption is through Christ.

You are correct. I looked into all these things when I was a Christian...it's so hard for them to see the truth.but their religion is a mixture of so many ancient religions. You have to be ready to see it I think. My thought was that I wanted truth more than I wanted to be religious. It's funny because the "name above all names" that they call on is a Greek name meaning "hail Zeus" Jesus was not his real name, it was Yeshua which if that name was transliterated as some suppose it would be Joshua not Jesus ok, I'm rambling, but that stuff I still find so fascinating I think because so many people just follow it blindly because it's what they were raised with...so they never even question, I find that amazing! :)

Yup you are right it all boils down to the son, you just spelt it wrong. The Son being the Christ, and the Christ being the word and the Word being God, and the Son Christ being the creative aspect of the Godhead. So as soon as you learn to spell then you've got it. but don't worry too much because God doesn't spell too well either.

Yes. Akhnaten had it right.
Then little Tut - sold out to the Amen crowd. Once that deal was sealed, the little guy had to go. He got a kick-*** tomb in exchange though.
