Again, i have a religions major and i want to see what the average person knows. Tell me if you know this is true, Constantine was not christian (he declared it on his death bed) he had clerics decide how to make christianity appear(as in making innovations of Gods word and such) in order to unite his state Constantinople. Did you know Cristmas( yes i find the holiday fun too) was Julius Caesars birthday and that there is no record of Jesus' birth?

Why am I being outcast at work? Everyone else gets birthday presents, greetings and gratitude but me.

Why is it that I am not liked purely because I work at work and not gossip?

They all seem cultured but most of them also seem to act as if I'm not there..... I like to make calls at lunch and have a bit of time for just me before I get home to the kids (which I've told them)!!

I don't read my Bible as often as I should; however, sometimes when I do, I find myself interested in it from more of a historical perspective than a spiritual one. I mean, don't get me wrong, I believe in God and his word; however, I would love to learn more of the history behind some of the people in the Bible. Like a more in depth study of the people behind it...just for educational purposes. Is that wrong? Is the Bible's supposed to be for spiritual purposes only, and not for historical and educational ones?

and dont help no one . you have millon dollor churches that let people sleep on the steps . also preachers pastors etc. drive 100.000 dollor cars . i live in virginia pat robertson has a huge church here even if i where a religous person i couldnt even walk in unless i donate huge amonts of money to him . he helps out people in africa with medical aid . but when he flys in medical supplys he flys out dimonds . so do you have to be rich to go to church . or just a hippocrate ?

I realize that people are against cloning just to retrieve stem cells, but how can they argue so vehemently about the subject when most do not even fully comprehend it? Stem cells are cells which are unspecialized. That is to say they can develop into any of the 220 different types of cells in your body. Embryonic stem cells can only be found within the first 10 days after fertilization and removing them means immediate death for the embryo. The other type of stem cells, called adult stem cells, exist in everyone, but can only differentiate into certain types of cells. That's right, everyone has stem cells in them, which, by using newly developed techniques, could be cultured to produce living tissue which could be replaced into the body. Stem cells and, obviously, stem cell research can only result in cures for diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and a ton of other of conditions. So why is everyone so against stem cell research when it can only do us good?

Why do we have an appendix?

What do you have against all other religions? and why do you all ways put us down. I know some of you are trying to help but some people just don't want it. What exactly are you looking for if it really isn't proof you want.
