first i am not trying to convert or bash please dont take it that way. i have a friend that is atheists and he has given me some answers but i only know one so i will ask you....
a lot of itmes you all give christians answers such as, where is the science, why doesnt paryer work? have you evern SEEN god, things like that. well i knwo that some of your questions are easily answered just by having faith. but some can not be. so i am asking you to tell me things of why christianity is not real. i woudl also liek to say that i am a christian and have been for many years, i am not giving up my faith, just wondering what the atheists think...

OK. I know that Chrisitans believe God made everything that is on Earth. OK, but does that mean God made the people who follow other religions other than Christianity, religions that don't believe in the same God as the Christian God (Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, etc)? Why would God create people who don't believe in him (aethists for another example)?

If you say yes, then why does one of the ten commandments (said by god supposedly) say: "you shall have no other gods before me."

And further more if one says that Allah and God and the Jewish version of God is all the same, what about other religions that believe in other gods (EG: Shintoism, a Japanese religion which believes in Amaterasu, the Sun goddess. No disrespect to the Japanese at all!)?

NOTE: not sarcastic, accusative of anyone. I'm just wanting a respectible, serious answer so I can understand your beliefs better. Thanks.

Actions speak louder then words...I don't think that sitting around complaining will help anyone. How are you any better then God or the evil doers? You say God allows it....Aren't you allowing it too by not doing anything about it?

Please understand I am on about 3 medications for a chemical imbalance, my son has aspergers syndrome and this past month has been so very hard for me.He has twice told me he wished he was dead and his school work is going down hill. My youngest daughter has been sick for the past 3 weeks, I am at my wits end and I guess what I need is someone to just pray for me. If you are an atheist then just spare me and my son a thought.

Seriously, what do you think about people that cannot control themselves because they're on drugs and they can't think straight.

Are they bad people from your point of view? Does God condemn them? What if they're truly pure but the drugs are messing them up?

I want to help them get off the addiction. Any pointers?

From a Christian perspective, what are the options (option that even a straight person would be willing to do as well) for a gay man in regards to his love life? Since he cannot be with another gay man (since conservative Christians see this as wrong) what are his alternatives? Now if you say his only choice is celibacy, do you really see this as fair and would you (assuming you are straight) be willing to do this if it was reversed and being straight was a sin? I just want to know what you conservative Christians see as a viable alternative for gay men and women who believe that Jesus Christ died for their sins and truly believe this and pray everyday and cry themselves to sleep every night on a tear soaked pillow that they will wake up straight, yet the morning comes and they are still gay. What are they supposed to do? Be unhappy and know that God will do nothing to help them or just accept who they are and have a loving relationship with the same sex. Serious answers only!

Do you feel that the key to achieving rights for the gay community would be to get some out of the closet homosexuals in office? Because I know there may be a few homosexuals in office now but they just haven't come out of the closet yet. And why don't some of the gay college kids major in politics to achieve this goal?
Success is right at your fingertips why don't you make the necessary moves to achieve it.

And why does everyone waste their time arguing about bashers and answering their questions? When this site could and should be used to improve and advance the gay community.

There should be a Martin Luther King of the gay rights movement.
