Depends on your belief. In the Bible, God showed himself to Adam and Eve as he walked in the garden of Eden. After the big boot for Adam and Eve, we would be mortals and not be able to see God directly. I believe it was Isaac that seen the back side of God only and the experience was too intense. Seeing the front side of God in all his glory would kill us, being the human condition is'nt capable of handling the overload.
Other beliefs hold a divine spirit to be invisible also. Even with the belief of reincarnation, we can only see the great divine only after death.
Now, since we are'nt allowed to see the Divine, does that mean we should'nt believe in the Divine. Do you believe in Atoms, even though you don't see them? We tend to have some kind of faith due to some kind of proof, either by scientists, or other means.
Now, why believe in a God? Well, if we are only an "accident" then everyone will become non-existent, regardless what you did on Earth. Same fate awaits everyone. Then why not do whatever your heart desires, get all you can get, and stomp on anyone that gets in your way. It does'nt matter. Why not just kill off those that are suffering or are disadvantaged. No sense having them continue their suffering. In fact, why not just blow up the whole planet, and end the suffering of billions. Would the universe care for this insignificant speck of dust?
We are creatures of morals. Morals are a disadvantage in a get all you can get world. Yet morals are good so that the human race can get along, being fair to others, and continue the human race safely as possible. Must be a reason why we have morals and compassion. Must be a divine reason to have this restriction. There must be more than just existing and dying. What that reason is I can't answer, but at least it gives living a purpose.

How would you know what god thought, did he tell you in a dream, or is it what you believe to be true (base on what?). It doesn't sound logical that god would punish those who don't believe. Of the 106 billion souls that have walked the earth since homosapiens first appeared 100,000 years ago, how many made it to heaven and how many were punished? Sounds illogical that a sentient supernatural being is playing games with us....but that's just me.

You are missing the bigger picture. We are in an age when God wants us to believe without seeing, it is called the age of grace and faith and has lasted for 2000 years now. But if you look back over history you will see that God has used a number of different methods. For one He sent His Son to live on this earth, so how obvious is that? In the age of law He came down in front of all the people on mount Horeb. He led His people with a pillar of cloud and fire at night. How direct do you want Him to be. In the garden of Eden He walked wih Adam and Eve. In the days of Noah He sent a world wide flood, and told everyone that He was going to do it. There have been times when He has done unbelieveable miracles, and times when He has physically fought against His enemies. Just what do you want Him to do before you believe?

IS it LOGICAL to think there are GERMS? NOBODY had seen them much more than 200 years ago. But, NOW? EVERYBODY knows there are GERMS! YOu merely need a MICROSCOPE with a 20x or 30x power to see them!
IS it LOGICAL to think SANTA lived? I wouldn't argue that with A PREACHER OR an ARCHAEOLOGIST!! All you have to do is READ YOUR ENCYCLOPEDIA to know SANTA was a Bishop in Europe, who every Christmas gavve gifts to underpriviledged children.
GOD? YOU ARE the lucky one!
Ecclesiastes 1:8
All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
John 3:3
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot SEE the kingdom of God.
James 2:19
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble .

God reveals himself in nature. A building can't build itself, therefore why do people believe that the human body put itself together? Also, look at the grand design found in nature.
God requires faith because that's far more impressive than seeing something and automatically believing it. "Faith is the belief in things unseen." Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it's not real.

If you have doubts then you owe it to yourself to find out what God has to say about these things. Seek to know Him, ask Him to reveal the truth to you. You will find that He loves you and wants you to step out from under the specture of condemnation and into His perfect light.
For our own better understanding, we should not try to impose our limited understanding upon He who has complete understanding. We are not God, He is.

God has shown Himself directly, through Jesus Christ, and through the Bible. Do you have honest questions and doubts, or do you simply not care? Ask God to show Himself to you, and He will, maybe not in an obvious way, or in the way you expect, but He will. Just keep your eyes (and your mind) open.

you comprehend what it says in Malachi do no longer you ? perchance once you have been 5 or 6 you are able to desire to with-stand God's face , yet I doubt in case you are able to now . do you comprehend how complicated it is for an older individual to get returned to being as humble formerly God as slightly toddler is ? it is way less complicated to be tortured in Hell forever than it is for an grownup to be that humble returned . so which you may do what Jesus has been attempting to tell his , so referred to as , followers to do for an exceedingly long term ; and that's to make a truthful covenant with the daddy to continually obey all of Jesus' sayings ( Greek text textile ) no remember what ; And to have been doing it for an exceedingly long term themselves till it turns into 2d nature ...... God confirmed Himself to lots of people who demanded that He prepare them His Presence ; And look what befell to them ; They have been self-spontaneously human combusted into little piles of ashes .
