God didn't put that stuff in their body, the world did. Everyone sat back and watched as they did drugs, because they had no other way to deal with the daily conflict known as life. No one said here, I will help you by routing your energy somewhere else. So, no, God doesn't condemn them, we do. They just need some guidance and some reason to quit that is stronger than the addiction. Without a stronger passion pushing them away from the drug,s passion, it wont work. Find out what is dear to the addict other than drugs and use that. Then once they start coming back, slowly teach them to route their energy else where, into something more productive. Just remember don't be there to change them be there to genuinely help them.

Only the person who is addicted can be the one to really make the change. I think God knows our hearts and I think it hurts Him when one of his children has been caught in a cycle of behavior that they cannot escape from. I do not believe they are bad people, just either easily addicted or got in with the wrong peer group. They can be helped if they really want it and the best thing you can do for them is to find out if there are any shelters in your area that will offer that kind of program and if not maybe the local mental health in your county can do it. They usually work on a sliding scale of income and if someone has nothing then they can pay nothing until they can get clean. The trick is that person is going to need support. If that means you have to assume surrogate family rights and go visit that person often and praise them when they have a success and help them back on track if they slide. Lots of time s they just need to know that someone cares.

Anybody Lost or Saved can get Addicted.
Anybody Addicted can be Good or Bad. Depends on them.
GOD wants to Help Everybody.
Spiritual Entitys are behind Alot of Addictions.
To help, you'll have to Learn Spiritual Things, Laws, Principles so on.
Alot of Addictions can be Overcome by Will Power.
Some are Real Stubborn, takes Time.
Along with the Spiritual Entitys, you have to work with your Soul and Body to Overcome them Too.
You only go Down, if you Leave your Body for Good, WITH OUT getting yourself (a Spirit) Recreated (Born-Again).
Jesus is the Only One Who Can Recreate you.
religions cannot recreate you (a Spirit, living in a Body).

Life is nothing more than a series of choices. People are judged after this life by a lot of what they think. It is sad to see good people ruined by drugs. The rules of religion are strict, (justice), but there is also compassion in religion. If they have added little to society, and break all the commandments, so they have done little for the community, they could be in trouble. However repentence, is all the lord asks. We do have to reach the goal before we die. Otherwise, are fate may have been decided. It is sad but true. I hope the best for all of them . They are God's children.

oooh, good question!
this maybe right, but not sure. I'd say no, there are no people that started off as twisted, screwed up people that can't handle themselves. we all start of babies, babies born into a world of sin, but still happy, fat babies.
addiction is a hard thing to break, it can change them, totally.
so if Jesus died for us all, that would mean he died for drug addicts, and usually if the drug addicts are serious about being a Christan, that would mean they would give up drugs for God. e.g. Nicky Cruz, he was screwed up, gang leader, the worst, but he ended up with God. (read Run Baby Run)
so i would say they are not bad from my point of view, in fact, no one is, i think everyone is not bad, but mislead

Crack is a mash-up drug no self respecting druggie would take. It's more worrying that people want to smoke crack when they could be tripping on lsd or spaced out on pot
their lives must be very chaotic they need to find stability first then they can get off crack and out of that situation

"fear of hell" is not going to be a very powerful tool in "helping" someone get off an addiction.
Pointers? Talk with a couple of substance abuse counselors.
When some people believe that God(tm) is a hammer, then everything else must be a nail.

an addiction is very sad ... and i would see it more of an illness than a sin
i seen a programme today about a boy who was introduced to drugs at the age of 10 ... is he sinful or is he in need of love and help ?

They don't. At least not according to the Bible. In Genesis 1:29, God states quite clearly that he made "every" plant and "every" seed to be used by mankind. This means that God created marijuana, coca (which contains cocaine), and poppies (which contain opium) to be used by humans. To deny this truth is to deny God's absolute truth according to Christian Fundamentalists.
