Psychiatrist point to your behavior as projecting; lacking in the confidence of yourself. It may have to do with you being inflicted with institutional racism, in a world that rejects you. Always never knowing where you fit in, mostly by Whites!

Hmm....who would they be representing besides...people in general?
Why is it that only a mulatto person can represent mulatto people?
Does that mean that white people can only represent white people, or chinese people can only represent chinese people??
How about black people only representing black people??
GET OVER IT, THIS IS THE 21ST CENTURY!!!
If you're STILL preoccupied with something like skin color, then you have deeper issues that need to be addressed.

Toots, you are truly color struck! But I've got just the place for you. Cape Town South Africa. Huge community of "colored" people. Mulattoes and multiethnic mixes like yourself who (because of of a shared history) identify as a distinct ethnic group.
Many are starting to see the wisdom of identifying as black since that's who has all the political power now, but I'm sure some of them would be thrilled to have a thoroughly American tragic mulatto like you to join them. You'll have to learn Afrikaans, but that's a small price to pay for finally feeling like you belong somewhere.
Seeya!

wow youre insulting yourself by referring to you and others that are mixed with white and black as mulattos. Thats a negative term that whites made up to refer to those that had an ounce of black ethnicity in them. Thats like using the N word. How could you not know that?

because there is a history in this country created by numerous judicial decisons and culture/tradition that separated people by race for the purpose of enforcing jim crow laws (legal and enforced segregation) and there was no third class for mulatto. everyone was either black or white and mulattos were classified as black. that is why they are "in that group" it is a historical fact based on the legal structure that arose out of jim crow laws.

You should be ashamed referring to yourself as a mulatto. You clearly need representation.

They can, they just choose not to for a multitude of reasons.
Example: A black person accused of raping a white woman would want a white woman as his attorney for psychological effect with the jury.
Its all strategy.
Another example would be a woman who is the victim of domestic violence would want a man to defend her purely for image that not all men are scum-bags, just the ahole who abused me kind-of-thing.
One more examle i just thought of: A white man accused of racism would want a black man to represent him for obvious reasons.
