Tori_Bird,
"Why do people blame God for the evils of this world?"
Because they have rejected the truth about the beginning. God didn't make Adam disobey Him. And so, the result is what we have now, a world that is screwed up, blind to Him, sinful, and with a skewed view of what is. The Knowledge of Good and Evil is now up to the perpective of men and women. So everyone gets his or her own choice as to what is good, and what is evil. And the confusion leads away from God, even though He has provided a way back to Him.
So it's not under man's capacity to end the evils in the world. We will never be under one accord, men have tried that and have failed miserably, until Jesus comes back, and yet sin will still be in the world. We must trust God with everything we've got, and await His time, not ours.

The story goes that He created everything and He knows how it is going to work out. Who should I blame, ultimately? Evil is only judged by men at a particular time and place. I for example think that many religious acts have been evil over time whereas the perpetrators would have balked at the very idea that it was them who were evil. You think that there is an ultimate evil.. but in the end you decide what you think that is. Two people deciding what is and was evil. Whether you just judge something or someone to be evil or you think that God judges something or someone to be evil is just removing the process one step. For you to say God says that is evil really means that YOU THINK that God says that it is evil. It is the same thing.

I don't blame God for the evil or the good things of this world (we humans bear the responsibility for both) but there is a sort of logic to it. If you believe in an omnipotent, omniscient God and you believe that this God created the earth and all the things in it then everything (including evil) exists because God wills it so. An all powerful God hypothetically could banish all evil from this world or have chosen to never let evil exist in the first place, so by extension evil exists because God lets it. Remember, this is strictly for the sake of discussion, I don't blame my good or evil deeds on anybody but myself.

Avoiding any deep theological debate on my part I'll just answer with a quick... The only ones that would do that would be people that believe in God and if so: they missed the whole bit about how we inherited the Earth and are it's custodians. So anything bad happening here is all, natural disasters excluded, due to us and up to us to handle. And hopefully fix. We're running the show for now and God'll check in on us at a later date (Day of Reckoning and all that).

I do something about it. I helped to get a law changed and had my submission published in a government paper.
The point is though, if god really existed then he would have to be responsible for all evil, because he would know about, and have the power to prevent, all evil.

It's much easier to blame something bigger than yourself.
Seems too much of society, not all mind you, don't take personal responsibility. Actions do speak louder than words. I can't fix it all, but I can certainly do something in my tiny world around me...and you hope it makes a difference.

People should not blame god for Earths evils because non exists the fault lies with people and people only.If you belive sitting aroud and complaining doesnt help witch it doesnt then why would you believ sitting around and praying would help both are equally counter productive.

Because they refuse to take responsibility for their own actions.
We need to each do our part to be kind to those around us, provide for the poor,
elect sensible people into government (not war-mongering idiots or moralizing closet perverts)
and live simpler, less polluting lives in this world.

Because they believe in a distorted worldview and can't take responsibility for their own actions. They believe that life is pre-ordained without any factual evidence to backup their belief.

because according to the bible god controls everything.
i personally think that the gods control very little and that most things are because of human nature and hatred.
