I understand your frustration.
Its part of some religions to "share the word" in a very aggressive dedicationed way.
Most don't hate you, people fear what they don't understand.
Most Pagans do not believe in evil, its a very loving subculture.
As a Druid Priestess and Minister, its difficult to explain each persons belief.
I would recommend you practice your spirituality as you see fit.
I do however in most religions prefer that you remain conservative in your external appearance in a open forum.
I don't wear pentagrams out in the open in a Christian event. It scares people.

As a Christian, I feel that some "Christians" are not true believers... Other Christians are passionate and see other religions as a threat - to their own faith or salvation. Other Christians, along with everyone else, are human. There are no perfect Christians.
I feel that you may have had some unpleasant experiences. Sorry about that, but Christianity is a fighting religion. Not in a guns and war sense (although somehow people find a way to) but in that it doesn't give up. It won't quit.
If you feel like you want Christians to like you and your ideas, wouldn't it seem natural that they would like the same? The difference is that if a Christian doesn't agree with you - there's no eternal consequence. However, if you don't accept the word of God - your soul hangs in the balance.
It's true some ideas are similar in ways but not entirely the same. If there is one truth - one answer. Anything else can't be the same.
The truth is we are all weak and give into temptation. The world can lead people astray. With more compassion Christians could be resonable and not fanatic. If you have Christian friends who shove it down your throat that is unfortumate. No body can be converted by another person. God makes that happen. Christians belive the Word of God is the Truth. So anyone who believes otherwise is wrong. But Christians shouldn't hold a position of authority over those who don't know. Unbelievers can't know until they are ready or, unfortunately, they won't ever know. Christians should share the Good News. Despite being sinners we are not doomed. Through Jesus we are saved.
Don't hold against Christ what bad Christians do to you.

Not all of us christian's our shoving it down your throat as you say. I know it seem's that way. but just because they say they are a christian doesn't mean they are a christian. Honestly I wish that More christian's would act more friendly like other religion's do. Cause it seem's to me that the some Christian's (not all) on this board act's more worldly then Christian's to me.
If christian's could really get you to believe they wouldn't be shoving it down your throat. If Christian's could literally get you to believe that would be a miracle. Not forcible Like you suggest.
And might we ask you what do you hate against
our ideas, and why don't you have an open mind with christianity! Remember Friendship can lead someone to Salvation in Christianity.
And just like you don't want our religion, is the same reason why we don't want your religion.
It's a two way street. Not just your way or no way. Christian's are not suppose to have open mind's. And people in religion's. If we/they did there would be no point in joining a religion.

Hmm.. That's a good question. You know I'm a Christian myself and i bet that you've encountered a Christian that tries to get you to become one or even makes fun of you. Well, that's their problem, they're not acting the way a Christian should be and I think you're right Christians shouldn't make fun of other religions, It's your choice whether or not you want to be a pagan and you chose to be one.. And your happy about it. So my suggestion is maybe just try to ignore them if they're shoving your religion down your throat. It's their problem, not yours. It's like their the bad guy and your the good one.

The only other religion that really bothers me is Muslim, basically because I'm frightened of the terrorist assault.
Most of the pagans I have spoken with are pretty cool people, although, like any group, there are a few real jerks who happen to be pagans.
I actually do know a wiccan who does believe much as I do. We get along very well.
Remember that, to a Christian, our faith is the most precious thing there is to us. If we seem over-eager to share it with you, please don't take it as an offense.
It is my hope, as well, that we can be friends.
I say "God bless you" and you say "Blessed be"....but I think we mean pretty much the same thing...
So,
God bless you!!

Christians are really not "against" they are "for" the truth. I respect the right of everyone to believe what they want. But if we believe what we do, that Christ is the only way to God then that makes all other ways wrong. We are not or should not be putting anyone down, but simply presenting the truth as we understand it in the hope that many others will believe and come to know God through Jesus Christ. There are many Christians that are offensive in their methods of approaching people and rest assured they are offensive to us also.Christ askes us to be gentle in the way we approach people but some are not always that way. I apologize, I wish they could just settle down and share the truth and not buttton hole anyone. 2 Timothy 2:25 with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,

When have I ever shown you hate? When have I ever put you down? If I have, I am truly sorry. I have never shoved my religion down anyone's throat - if a question is asked that I think I can answer, I will do so to the best of my ability. I can honestly say that on the contrary, I love you, through Christ Jesus.

Well, Jesus, Peter, Paul and John all said that Jesus was the only way into Heaven. So, the implication is that no other religion is right, according to Jesus himself. Sorry, but that's the way that it is.
Also, Jesus told his disciples to spread his teachings to all people right before he left Earth. It is literally the last thing that he said. It is called the Great Commission, and it is a requirement of all Christians.
You can still be friends with Christians if you are willing to put up with their beliefs, which you obviously do not agree with.

We believe that our religion is the true religion, just like the Muslims do. They damn us to hell everyday, and yet everyone yells at us calling us intolerant.
The pagans are misguided individuals who have the truth of God right in front of their faces but choose to reject it. And so it's not a matter of intolerance, it's a matter of what we believe. We feel we are helping people. It's not that we mean to be "intolerant", it's that we've been misunderstood by the secular media and demonized more than ever.
Some Christians are "intolerant", others are legitimatly trying to win souls.

what a silly question! Christians don't hate other people! wouldn't this question be better directed towards a fanatical religion that, oh, i don't know.... blows people up who don't agree with them??? gee, wonder who that could be.... hmmm
anyway, if Christians are so hateful, how come we are the first group of people to go to countries that need help? ever hear of a Buddhist entering the jungle to bring medicine to some indigenous tribe??? how about a Muslim?
and you want to talk about intolerance??? i can be sitting at a table with my gay friend, my atheist friend, and some other guy who i don't really know and we can talk about anything, their views and beliefs, but the minute i speak up about my beliefs, then all of a sudden i'm cramming my beliefs down their throats.
maybe we all need a lesson on tolerance and not just the Christians.
lol, get your facts straight!
