For goodness sakes! Don't give them (people who hate LGBTs) any more ideas!!!
Seriously, though, gay marriage will be legal one day. It's just going to take a long and painful fight before it happens. The same thing happened with every major change. Look at the women's suffrage movement and the civil rights movement. They took a long time and some of it is still going on in certain circles. Nothing worth changing ever changed overnight.

Gay people are allowed to vote because they're human beings- a right granted to all Americans 18 and older by the United States Constitution.

Why do Christians even vote? True first century Christians were instructed by Jesus not to have anything to do with the world, and that would place governments right at the top of Jesus list since He also commanded to "pay Caesar's things to Caesar, and God's things to God". There's some food for thought! But back to your gay issue, everyone stands accountable before God and no one has a right to judge others or play the role of Him. I'm with you man, can't stand all these hypocrites! I don't vote, I am gay and I don't affiliate with Christendom. (They) need to do more scriptural research and get their facts right before going on all these kinds of righteous sprees!

Politicians are ALL a FLOCK of Hypocrites!
You can:
Execute a person
Throw bombs overseas and murder and maim innocents
Pray in School
Single out minorities (Homeland Security)
Own guns (galore!)
But you CANNOT:
have an abortion
marry a person of the same gender
do genetic research
do research on stem cells
help being "randomly" searched at airports if you're NOT white
I've a suggestion for you....GRIN & BEAR IT, cause that's about ALL you can do.

GBLT can't get married because old, white, homophobic men in Washington D.C are paid off by big business and by big religious organizations not to pass a law.

Same-sex marriage is illegal because it was forbidden by the Pope around the 10th century, voting was not an issue then, so he didn't address it.

We're allowed to pay taxes as well, they certainly don't have a problem taking our money while they discriminate against us.
