The reason why God is everywhere is because He is a Spirit. He is not part of an Idol. John 4: 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. In fact, man has changed the truth of God into a lie and worshiped idols more than they did God. Romans 1: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

yes, but anything except worshipping the FULL G-d is considered idolatry, even if its part of G-d. you're not supposed to worship parts of G-d, or manifestations of G-d, you're supposed to go even higher and worship the whole being of G-d - the Source

the bible even forbids making images of G-d to help you worship... thats idolatry too, since the image is just a lower manifestation of G-d.

A recent convert from animism once asked me that!

Would you like it if your kids gave their attention and love to objects of yours instead of you???? Gods like to be acknowledged, known, and worshipped, not replaced.
