I have been reading about Islam and how meat is supposed to be butchered. Can a Muslim pick up meat at a regualr grocery store. If it hasn't been killed according to the Qu'ran can it still be eaten? How do you even know how it was killed?

OK Christianity believes in that Adam & Eve were the first man and woman. Doesn't the Bible say incest is wrong? Where did everyone come from if Adam and Eve were the first people on Earth? I mean if you go on this belief wouldn't incest have to come along sometime since all Adam/Eve's children would be brothers & sisters so they'd have to reproduce with someone to further Earth population, right? Who with, the sons reporduce with their sisters or mother or what? See what I mean? Answers please!

I saw this article just now, and found it intriguing. In it, she says that Muslim women who want to work in Western society need to work with Western mores and show their faces.

Personally, I'm a bit squicked by full-on veiling and niqabs for the reasons she says, though I have no problem with a head scarf. (Hell, I've been known to wear "hijab" when the swimming pool turns my highlights green!)

I am extremely board at work with not much to do, a lot of people might think thats fun cause I get to chat and play on the internet as much as I like. But truth is that I dont feel this job to be a challenge for me at all, there is no room for advancement and I feel in a way that I am not doing much with my career. I just dont feel happy. I believe in God, I know that He is my one and only Savior, He created everyone and everything, He's omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, and many more but I don't want to go to church and read the Bible. If all matter is neither changed nor destroyed and the whole of the human being is simply energy, then what is created when the egg and sperm unite. Is life an illusion? If energy follows no set path then why is that energy focused on a human being at conception. Or is the physical sperm and egg, seperated, just as human as a baby?

i called this girl at school a prostitute because she makes out with people for money and she starts yelling at me and says its only being a prostitute if you have sex so i looked up prostitute on dictionary.com (this will be difficult to explain to my dad, who installed spyware on my laptop....i think) but there were a bunch of different deffinitions and their meanings were unclear. if you do not agree with me then please, dont answer my question. i want sources too!!

I personally am not a religous person at all . I don't believe in organized religon
as it is in todays society , however I feel that I do have a good relationship with God . How do you feel in this area . I know there will be many differing opinions here , but that's the point .
