Who says animals don't have a soul or feelings? Why are SOME people so dead set that humans are superior to every thing around them?

The most educated people seem to know that we are not the only souls out there......If we even have a soul...........I HOPE WE DO

why is this an "either-or" situation? i do feed stray animals when i can, because i dont like the idea of them suffering. i have adopted animals from shelters. but i have also helped out a couple of needy families in my neighborhood as much as i can. i wouldnt say their children were starving, but they definitely needed food on their table, and i helped them out with that. why would someone choose to be kind to animals and reject humans or vice versa? need is need regardless of the form it takes.

Well when I get up in the morning and the dog has made me breakfast, then I will consider that animals are equal to people. Until animals come up with better plans for my life I am superior to them.

What does souls have to do with feeding a mutt? If you want to feed some rabid dog over an Innocent child that's your progative.

You are right, you can only handle one matter at a time, it's like people getting mad at the animal rights group for not being about people; What are they supposed to do everything?

My personal belief is that animals are born with an instinctual ability to hunt for food and shelter. I don't believe children necessarily have that instinct anymore because of society.

Nothing. It's your perogative. Though personally, I would help the dog and the child. :) Animals are highly respected in my culture, but they are usually not put before humans. They are often on equal terms with us, though.

Because they believe the word of their God and believe that they are truly superior to animals.

If nobody was around when you did this.. nothing. If there are witnesses, you are likely to be judged by them as evil.
