Probably the smartest thing I have heard all day. You have answered your own question. You are right. The Bible was written by......Anybody know the answer to this? Anyone? Not God. God is not one entity. God is a collection of souls who have completed their spiritual journey and given their souls to the mass pool of perfect souls that make up what God really is. These souls have been back on this earth through reincarnation time and time again until they get it right. Until they are good as gold. Then they can finally go home and stay home.
The Bible with all of it's horror stories of fire and brimstone and sacrificing loved ones sounds a bit cultish to me. It was written by some Chritians, designed to keep man in line. Devil is just a catch-all word that describes those who must keep coming right back to Hell. Hell is right here folks. The truly evil, upon death, do not get to go home. They are whisked to the left door and back in utero to try again. So, in essence, they will take much longer in earthly years to be able to go into the light. Nobody is unredeemable. We are all "God's" children, good or bad. The Devil? Nope! God, yes, but not like everybody thinks of God. That is not real.

Do u not believe in other historical figures also? Jesus' teachings and sermons are so simple and straightforward, that the principles tthey teach still help us today. In the Bible , Paul mentions 500 witnesses who saw the resurrected Jesus Christ. Even the historian Josephus mentions him. The Devil may be harder to prove to exist, but the Bible says he is the ruler of this world and as bad as things are getting, that explains why. Revalation 12: 12
No, i don't think your a Jehovah's Witness

Both powerful, but not the same. No one who loves and follows Jesus would place Jesus and Satan in the same category whatsoever!!! Jesus is love, and Satan is pure evil waiting to destroy and corrupt.
Nope...not the same at all.

I once wondered if Heaven and Hell weren't the same place.
It just depending on the state of the soul when it entered.
A loving soul being refined by "Divine" Fire.
Or a hater being burned up by "Hell" Fire.

smells like the balance between opposites - however you define it, it's still the same issue from two different points of view
