so ino other words, Christians attend worship services, believe in Jesus, and of course they'd be considered a practicing Christian. A convert to Judaism who vows to follow the laws of the Torah but has only been a Jew for a short time would be considered a practicing jew. But a Jew who has been a Jew their entire life, celebrating every single holiday with their family, attending shabbat services on a regular basis, teaching Hebrew school, religious school and sunday school for 30 years but not keeping Kosher or being Torah observant would negate one's honor to say they are a practicing jew? any opinions on this?

I am deaf in one ear and losing the hearing in the other ear after years of abusing them with loud music dj-ing. My question is, if Gabrielle comes to blow his horn after I am totally deaf, am I just sh** out of luck or will they have some sort of special thing for those of us with handicaps?

instead, most of us want to go to heaven so bad, we would believe in god, take jesus's records and made his our own so that we can go to heaven and let him take our sins.

are we that irresponsible people?
it's like in university i get a D+ grade and i take the report card of an A+ student and made it my own so even though its not my real grade, it entitles me to a great job.

is that the point of going to heaven? we are sinful but still entitled??

If our spirit energy is from our body form, why do most photos of ghosts show them as dressed as opposed to naked? I have my
theories, I'd like to hear others. Thanks!

I am Wiccan and everytime a Wiccan answers a question abpout religion, Christians think they need to condem us. Why so they have to be so close-minded. Cant they see their way is not the only way.

BTW paganism outdates christianity.

My boyfriend says stupid things all the time that he thinks is funny, but it really isn't. No one thinks it is. Its just annoying!

How do I tactfully get him to stop? I've told him it isn't funny before but it doesn't work. He admits I'm right but then will say something else stupid in a couple hours. Arrrgh!

Who believes in the Easter Bunny? That is just crazy. I was raised on a farm we know rabbits don't lay colored eggs.
How can you call someone stupid for not believeing in something that nobody believes in? Does anyone out there think the Easter bunny is real? He brings colored eggs and hids them?

I didnt want to be confirmed mainly because I felt like my relationship with God and the issues I was dealing with my faith in general was just horrible, worse than ever. My parents didnt like the idea of me not getting confirmed like all the little "angels" in my church and school. The nice thing was, my parents did the right thing...they left ME the choice of getting confirmed. I was made to attend the classes and all, and from what I had gathered, going through confirmation was all about your decision to be confirmed into the catholic community...correct me if I am wrong. And my friends who were MADE to go through confir. didnt want to either. So how was this their ultimate choice? If I were to go through con. then nothing would have changed because this was practically forced..a simple oil wont do anything for you. So to get down to the main question, as parents or anyone..is confirmation really a "choice" when you MAKE you kid do it?

This was reported in to-days Courier Mail, Brisbane, Australia. A Muslim Cleric, Sheik Taj Aldin Alhilali said, "Women who do not cover up are similar to abandoned "meat" making them responsible for sexual attacks".

The senior Islamic cleric has said. "If she was in her room, in her home, in her hijab (islamic headdress), no problem would have occurred."

The Sheik went on to say women were "weapons" used by "Satan" to control men and when it comes to adultery the responsibility falls on the woman 90 per cent of the time.

Do you think he is right or do you think that Muslim men have to learn to control themselves?

This was said in response to the conviction & jailing of three young Muslim men who raped a young woman on her way home from work.
