our thoughts are indeed what separates us from God, unless we give God the permission to become a part of our thought process and eventually adopt His more perfect thought process and there by become in more perfect alignment with that oneness which we rejected in order occupy our own separate space here on earth. Praying meditating and all thinking eventually become more listening than thinking words, some call it stopping the internal dialog. One problem presents itself in this process and that is that it is not actually a duality but there are indeed rulers who are evil in the unknown principalities who would like to interfere in this process for their own gratification and so we need a guide in the process and this guide which has actually made the effort to understand what it is like to be human is the one who through a prescribed process made available to us the comforter who is the guide wearing the seal of approval belonging to the highest power of all. There is a book about all this and it is called the Bible. Coming to a book store near you soon or perhaps it is already there it is a real block buster haveing outsold all other books where ever made available all over the earth read it you'll like it. Warning do not take the words of others to explain the teachings in this book because people have been known to use these teachings to attract their own following and use their own hidden agendas for private gain

No, I don't agree.
If there is no separation between me and God, e.g., then I am God and can do as I please. If there is no separation between me and you, e.g., then I am you and can do as I please to you. If I hate myself, you better watch out, because I will hate you too...since you are me. If there is no separation between God and the devil, then God knows and does evil, which means that he is not God.
Duality is not an illusion. Monism is. It is duality that causes people to ask the hard questions and do the hard work. It is monism that causes people to fall asleep intellectually.
While Taoist principles, for example, are all light, airy, and pretty to look at on the surface, underlying them is a grave violence to the human psyche...all the more violent because it does put people to sleep in a helpless sort of oh-wellism.

I absolutely agree with that statement. In watching and being an observer of one's own mind, one can gain insight into all the erroneous programs and beliefs that operates within the mind. Quieting the mind, and reaching a state of stillness will enable one to experience (or as close to!) the essence of unity.

When your friends are in duality you should definately check your illusions, and get new friends.

Yes, it's kind of hard not to fall into the habit of judging things as good or bad.

I believe it is the senses; man-soul, our souls are separated from our source of life by the veil of darkness.
