I have been told by my parent's that we do not have to be baptized to be saved. All we have to do is admit our sins and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. I have done that but i have not had the oppurtunity to be baptized yet. I've been told that the lord asks us to be baptized but it isn't a command to get into heaven.

In Western culture ghosts are typically portrayed as white, sheet-like and transparent. Is it the same in Chinese culture?

This is a question that I've been thinking about since I don't remember when.......As per The Bible....Adam and Eve were the first to roam the earth. But then why do we have fossils and ancient artifacts of dinosaurs and cavemen? Which one in your opinion came first?

It just always sounds like there are strings attached. First, you have to do what Jesus/the Bible says- even if you don't agree with it. That means I would have to give up some things in my life that I don't consider bad... to me, that definitely seems like some kind of price to pay. But maybe I have this wrong... maybe it really is free? It's a free gift but after I take the gift, I'm supposed to "go and sin no more." What if I still want to do some of these "sins?" Will my gift be taken back or taken away from me because I don't agree with everthing the Bible tells me I should be doing? Or am I now required to do everything the Bible says, even things I know will make me angry, miserable, or pissed off? Would I even be allowed to be angry about rules I didn't agree with? Please help... I'm not Christian, but this area of Christianity really confuses me! Also, perhaps this can help some Christians understand how non-Christians see this whole "gift" idea and why people don't take it.

Why do people think that they don't have to come to work if their car breaks down or if someone is using their car or they have a car wreck (but werent' hurt)? I don't even have a car and I get to work everyday on the bus. Most of these people I know live in the city and could take a bus and yes it might be inconvienent to them, but if I can do it every day they could do it a few days.

So, I'll be a college freshman in 2 weeks, and I know that everyone will be trying to make a good impression, often using a fake personality. How can I make a good impression, without coming off like everybody else? (don't tell me to be myself, actual tips please!)

Jesus asks us to let him into our heart-to forgive sins and become our friend-Revelation 3 vs 19&20 "Behold i stand at your heart and knock, if you open the door i will come in and deliver from sins-amen"
how i did it i prayed as He says to do- "Jesus come into my heart-forgive my sins and help me do better, be my friend, amen.
i had alot of excuses not to let Jesus into my heart-well first i was trying to earn my way to heaven-but Isaiah said even our best isnt good enough "All our righteousness is as filthy rags."
As a Jew i saw more of what Isaiah said that we needed the messiah to forgive our sins-Isaiah 52 vs 13-53 vs 12-"He will be made very high, but first will sufer and be marred more than any man for our sins. "He will lay down his life as an atonemnt for our sins." who else did this for us but Jesus?
if your Jewish or a Muslim face the facts-if you reject Isaiah and the Messiah tghen your not a true Jewish or Muslim person-u just claim to follow the truth .

Read the bible again, it is not their fault, everyone blames ' jews' for the death of Jesus.
Jesus was murdered by the Romans, which at that time ruled over Canaan ( Israel ) ...

You're probably going to say ' it's their fault, they chose a murderer to be freed from the prison instead of Jesus', hey so what? Was it their resposibility to save Jesus?

Especialy back then, if people said they are " The Saviour and the Son of God ', someone would have killed that person.

So many people have claimed and still claimed today to be ' A saviour or the Son of God ' ...

Come on, I would go like ' this idiot is a complete nutcase !!', if someone said ' I am the SAVIOUR , God has sent me to cure you all and perform miracles.

As if ...

I work in retail and like most stores, we are understaffed and overworked. I work 6 or 7 hour shift with no break, no lunch, and no there isn't one person that can cover for me because every area is busy and understaffed. I work in a customer service department which gets busy., I am trying to do orders, make phone calls, wait on customers, do projects, etc and sometimes I will have 6 people in line and do to the fact that I am only one person, I can't take care of everyone at once. I try first come first serve or if someone has a small request I will take them first to get them on their way because I don't want to make a person wait to pay for one item while I spend 30 minutes with another person making a custom order. So many people get impatient and holler at me and all I can tell them is sorry I will be with you as soon as possible but this person has been waiting and was here first , etc. Why do consumers blame the employee when it isn't their fault?

I am straight so in a straight relationship you know how the sex is going to go, man usually bones woman. In a gay sexual relationship, you have sex for the first time how do you figure out who's the top and who's the bottom? Do you discuss it beforehand and if so what if you are drunk and don't think to discuss it.
