How do you feel about muslim men marrying more than one woman? Do you believe it is an archaic practice or would you consider it?

Two of my friends were walking home together. One was an atheist the other one read the bible everyday and prayed every night. Guess what, they both got hit by a car. I doubt that your god had anything to do with it.

Hate god-Good for you. He cant do anything about it
Love god-Good for you. He cant do anything about it

Wasn't it that a bride would wear white as a symbol of virginity and being pure. Now it doesn't matter, now it's just seen as a tradition instead of what it really was meant. Why did it change, was it changed from symbolism to tradition to keep up with the times, knowing that nowadays most women aren't virgins when they marry? So are we free to change any other aspect to fit our sinful lifes and call it tradition?

I've heard PET scans of the brain can tell if you are psychic. They say everyone is born with some type of psychic ability and that if you use it, it will become strong. Is intuition the same? Are our instincts really psychic energy, or quantum energy as the call it now?

the Bible mentioned more than 5 people as son of God. one of them was Adam.

the word son in the Bible does not mean sons as we understand today. the word son of God, sons of God, children of God means an honor servants of God. God is above of having a son. he is owner of everything exist, nothing like him or comparable to Him.

Now come on we all know that is not a true statement because all humans perish. Now you are going to say that is not what God meant - but flat out that is what is written down. How come some parts of the bible are taken word for word and other parts are not by mainstream Christians?

I just learned of this wonderful new practice of leaving little tiny things around to make kids think there are faries. Like a little tiny table or half a walnut full of miniature flowers. Anybody find anything like that when they were little, or leave them?

why are black people so racist and it's all about them. I want to know why is they complain if someone calls them the N workd, but it's ok if they call themselves that. You need to be equal! If they don't get there way it's like they scream racism. just like the rebel flag. it's not for racism, its about the southern heritage. I live in the north so I"m not from the south. There are Black only schools but you will never hear of a white only school. they have BET (black entertainment) but heck if a channel called themselves WET (white entertainment) oh you know there would be a great uproar. does anybody else notice this?

In other words, isn't the study of theology vitally important for those who are vocal proponents of atheism?

For example, if an atheist doesn't even know what theists are proposing, then aren't arguments against theism proposed by that atheist likely to be Straw Man fallacies?

i'm not insinuating that he doesn't i'm just wondering what beliefs are based upon, and i don't mean "because the bible says" because sometimes not everything written down is true. i just mean the actual evidence you use to base your beliefs on.

One morning the husband returns after several hours of fishing and decides to take a nap. Although not familiar with the lake, the wife decides to take the boat out.She motors out a short distance, anchors, and reads her book.Along comes a Game Warden in his boat. He pulls up alongside the woman and says,
"Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?""Reading a book," she replies, (thinking, "Isn't that obvious?")"You're in a Restricted Fishing Area," he informs her."I'm sorry, officer, but I'm not fishing. I'm reading.""Yes, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you could start at any moment. I'll have to take you in and write you up.""If you do that, I'll have to charge you with sexual assault," says the woman."But I haven't even touched you," says the game warden."That's true, but you have all the equipment. For all I know you couldstart at any moment.""Have a nice day madam," and he
left.
MORAL: Never argue with a woman who reads. It's likely she can also think.
