I know of two people who claimed to have premonitions.
One was the husband of a woman my mother worked with, he perceived a problem with my sisters fiancee just before he was killed in a collision with a car and a train.

The other was my grandfather who kept a record of events in a diary that defy an explaination.

These people would say yes to your question, I feel they are the most beleivable to me as neither one was willing to have people they did not trust know extraordinary events that they claimed they knew of.

My advice, anyone who says yes to your question too readily is probably lying or deluded.

If you live in south Australia and if you wish to have proof for yourself, I can give you a place to visit that may answer your question without you needing opinions of other people.

Yes, and they were no fun. When I was young (starting around age 6) I would sometimes have this strong sense, or feeling, about someone, and felt that there was something "wrong". Within a day or two I would learn that they had died, or in one very unnerving experience, that they had been killed. This was stuff that made the papers and local TV, too.

Thankfully, as I've grown older they've stopped happening. When I was in grad school (when they finally did stop), my best friend's wife (who was a psychologist) told me that premonitions are "documented phenomena" but nobody could say more about them. I told her about my experiences and that they run in my mother's family. She said the next time I have one, to write it down--immediately--and put it in the mail to her right then. That would document it. I did have one last experience, but it had nothing to do with a person: I was stressed over this BIG exam coming up, and I had this "vision" (I guess?) of actually seeing every page and every question of the exam. I did what she had said to do. Several days later I took the test. You guessed it, it was verbatim the same thing I had "seen", word for word. (Made a really good grade, too!)

All of this stuff seems to run in my mother's family. There are some very eerie stories concerning my g-father and his father, among others. Anyway, I'm just glad they don't happen anymore. That last one was a nice send-off for all the depressing and scary ones I had to endure all my life up until then.

So, YES they DO happen. But Good riddance to them.

Yes, almost constantly, and about almost anything.
Sometimes it's silly little things, like knowing what a certain co-worker will wear, sometimes I'm driving and suddenly "feel" that a deer will run across the street in front of me- and one does.
It's not really what I'd call a gift... I've "seen" deaths, accidents, local and world disasters, and the horrible part is not knowing where, when, or who it will happen to.
Probably the worst one was waking at 3:34am on 9-11-01, very scared and crying and knowing that "something" was about to happen. I didn't know when or where.
So, it's interesting, I can't control it and don't know why in the past 10 years it's become so accurate but it's actually really scary sometimes.
And people joke with me about it... try as I might I can't predict winning lottery numbers!

All the time. But real premonitions aren't like they are in the movies. Its more of a feeling or a knowing that something is going to happen. You don't actually close your eyes and see the event play out.

Sure; but you can't bet the horses or predict the weather with that kind of stuff. Usually (for me anyway) premonitions come in the form of a random thought, which sometimes seems unrelated to what's going on around you, until it happens, and then you're like "I had a feeling that was going to happen"; and then you ask yourself, "How did I know that?" and "Will anyone believe me if I tell them". I find it's usually best not to mention it because they usually say "Yeah, right"

Maybe not premonitions, but I do get that thing all the time when I'm somewhere I've never been before and watching something I've never seen before and I just KNOW that I have done it before, even though it is impossible. It used to be kind of rare, but I keep getting it more and more now and it's very weird.

Yes.
I went to the dog track, bet on 10 races and all 10 were winners, including a 47 to 1 longshot. Haven't been back since.

Just one example of many.

Actually yes.. I haven't in a while..but the most real one that ever happened was I had a sick cat. I was visiting my father, and I could have sworn that I saw my cat run across his kitchen doorway turned and looked at me..and disappeared. The cat lived at my mothers house, so I called her and she sounded upset..I asked what was wrong and she told me that Ms. Kitty had passed away...

Yes - and, although mine are very vague, I've learned to respect them. At first I just shook them off and ignored them. I've learned to pay a little bit more attention to what's going on around me when I have a "funny" feeling.
