I just learned of this wonderful new practice of leaving little tiny things around to make kids think there are faries. Like a little tiny table or half a walnut full of miniature flowers. Anybody find anything like that when they were little, or leave them?

When my cousins were growning up..me and their mom set up a fairy garden, and we would put little presents out there for the girls, and set up a little tea party out of walnuts and stuff like that. It was so neat...I think that is the best idea in the world for little kids..they get so excited.

Yes, my mother infact put little puffs of glitter and baby powder from my room leading to the back porch outside, this was found the day after i had lost my tooth and stuck it under my pillow. It was pretty cool actually. Nothing along the lines of tables or half walnuts, but still nice things to see when you're a child. I think I received 25 cents for that tooth. haha.

I think that it's a cute idea that will help with children's imagination. I firmly believe that children aren't "playing" as much as they should. They go to practices, they watch tv, they play with electronic toys that make noises for them. I wonder how this sort of upbringing will affect the creativity of the future.

It sounds delightful, I have always loved Faiery stories, but can't say I ever found things like that around. But I would as a child, sit in the garden, and pretend the Faieries had been there. =D

1) a world of incredible possibilities makes children strive for more as adults.
2) there is alot of feary lore out there. Don't let the obvious hide whats around you!

Ignore the cynics, I think it's a good idea to have a bit of magic in life - so long as you don't take it too seriously.

It's bad enough society makes me tell my children there is Santa, and Easter Bunny, and Tooth Fairy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not gonna add to the dissappointment of finding they were lied to.
