i'm not insinuating that he doesn't i'm just wondering what beliefs are based upon, and i don't mean "because the bible says" because sometimes not everything written down is true. i just mean the actual evidence you use to base your beliefs on.

"For since the creation of the world, Gods invisible qualities, his eternal power, and divine nature have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made so that men are without excuse." Romans 1:20

this verse means that even though you lived on some deserted island and nobody ever told you about God or anything.... He makes it clear to you through creation.

everything around you was made by him.. how else would it have got here? some explosion? explosions only cause destruction.. there is no way that it could possibly create the universe that is so complex and perfectly balanced..
think about it:

just a bit closer to the sun - we would burn

just a bit further - we would freeze

if the moon was a bit closer - tides would be to high and flood the earth

if the moon was a bit further - the tides wouldnt be high enough and marine life would be impossible

the human body - is so incredibly complex.. someone had to have created it right?
or are you really going to believe that we all evolved over millions of years from some slime struck by lightning?

EVERYTHING if in PERFECT BALANCE the planets in orbit, the earth on its axis - by chance?? i think not.

and the bible is 100% true [God's own words] and has been unchanged since the time it was written .. proof? the dead sea scrolls

I once read that a super computer was asked if there
was a God,with all evidence fed into it, the computer said
97% of a God, 3% not! Look at yourself, you are a wonder
of creation, a miracle unto yourself, from a whale to a
microbe that you cannot see with the "wondrous"
Even if Evolution is true,I beleive God watched over this
process over eons to see how it would develop. I don't
know if you have access to cable or satellite, but watch
history and the Discovery channel, you will learn much
my friend. Also, this is a fact, Albert Einstein, the most
brilliant man of our century, believed in a "supereme
being, and the Popes, who, some have been brilliant men,
believe, so all things considered, and using common
sense and logic, will enlighten you, and besides, if you
believe you have everything to gain, and if you don't,then
what do you loose? Ponder that friend.,

I believe in God because all I have to do is look around, the sky the stars the grass trees life it is all around us someone or something made and or created all of this, just look at the nature of this vast earth and universe we simply can not comprehend the why and the how it was done, we can speculate the how but we certainly don't know the why, it comes from an intelligence far far more advanced a power so incredibly great we can't begin to understand it, there are those who think they have the answer but I believe man has not evolved to that level yet, we seem to have some sort of energy that surrounds us we tap into it with emotion and thought, and that's where God, Allah, the father, creator, great mystery I believe comes from, we can come up with all kinds of names to call him, the truth is that it is a power far beyond our comprehension for me it is simply God.

The simplest way to find the evidence of God is to look around at nature. There is a beautiful order to it, even as it replenishes itself. Do you think it is an accident the plant life takes in carbon-dioxide and gives off oxygen? And that humans do just the opposite?

Ecological concerns for ozone and global warming aside, there is a balance in nature that is unsurpassed.

Nature itself provides the evidence of intelligent design.

When have you ever notice an explosion (big-bang theory) bring order?
Quite the opposite, big bangs bring disorder and chaos.

Evolution remains a theory. In spite of a mountain of evidence, evolution provides no examples of missing links from one species to another.

The order we witness in nature screams design, and therefore a Designer.

I know that He exists because for many years I was in a "Its all about me and there is nothing else" attitude and my life sucked!! Things were constantly going wrong and people were always cheating me. Now, that I have returned to my faith everything that I have needed has been given to me at the exact time that I need it. Wether it has been financial support, emotional support, or the answer to a huge problem I have gotten what I needed. God is working with me again and my life is back on track.

Because I have met Him when I accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior I experienced something that I cannot explain.
But to someone who does not believe that will mean nothing, as one who does not believe cannot grasp or even begin to understand it. This is what the Bible says about that.
1st Cor. 2:14 says that the natural man cannot understand the things that are of the Spirit of God for it is foolishness to him nor can he know them for they are spiritually discerned

i really should save this so i can copy paste each time i answer this question lol

things in my life have led up to the belief in a creator
i am a spiritualist medium and through spirit communications i have had personal evidence of life after death
i have also been able to communicate with my spirit guides
and have read teachings of other spirit guides and all of which speak of a creator
non of these spirits... guides.. or teachings have came without validated proof of who they are and the evidence is amazing
now to disbelieve in a god i would be disbelieving in the spirits that comes through , and disbelieving in the guides i communicate with and all the wonderful evidence given about spirit teachers
so personally it is logical for me to believe in god through years of validated collective proof that leads to a creator
