Jesus asks us to let him into our heart-to forgive sins and become our friend-Revelation 3 vs 19&20 "Behold i stand at your heart and knock, if you open the door i will come in and deliver from sins-amen"
how i did it i prayed as He says to do- "Jesus come into my heart-forgive my sins and help me do better, be my friend, amen.
i had alot of excuses not to let Jesus into my heart-well first i was trying to earn my way to heaven-but Isaiah said even our best isnt good enough "All our righteousness is as filthy rags."
As a Jew i saw more of what Isaiah said that we needed the messiah to forgive our sins-Isaiah 52 vs 13-53 vs 12-"He will be made very high, but first will sufer and be marred more than any man for our sins. "He will lay down his life as an atonemnt for our sins." who else did this for us but Jesus?
if your Jewish or a Muslim face the facts-if you reject Isaiah and the Messiah tghen your not a true Jewish or Muslim person-u just claim to follow the truth .

It is not unusual for Muslims and the Jewish to believe Jesus was a prophet, messenger of God. The key difference is accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior and that only through Him will you have eternal salvation, which defines Christian belief, but not Jews or Muslims. If you truly accepted Jesus into your heart, by definition that makes you Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ. I won't comment on all the points of conflict of being a "saved" Jew or Muslim, but you sound happy to be in the truth so be blessed by it.

Bless you, Brother! Congradulations! I am so happy for you!!! I let Jesus into my heart a while back. Why? Well, I realized that I would/could be nothing without Him and His unfailing love. After studying the Word, I realized that I could not save myself, "For the wages of sin is death..." But with Jesus I will have eternal life. I can say that I am a very devoted Christian, but I will not lie and say I am any better then anyone else. Again,, I say "Bless you!" As a Jew, you are God's Chosen people (as I am sure you know) but a Messianic Jew?!?!?!??! That's the best of both worlds! God Bless you!

P.S-Please forgive all those who give rude, disrespectful, or blasphemous answers to you. I am glad you chose Jesus, as is He!

By "into your heart", I assume you mean, do I have any emotional feeling for Jesus. Sorry, but Jesus has been dead for a couple thousand years and I feel no emotion towards him.

I'm also assuming you mean the mythical Jesus of the Bible, because nobody really knows what the real person was like, or even if he existed. The New Testament was written decades to centuries after he supposedly died. So, it's quite impossible to have any emotion for the real Jesus.

As for the storybook character, I've seen better ones.

If you have believed and trusted in what the Lord Jesus Christ did for you on the cross then being Jewish does not matter. He died for your sins, He was buried and took your sins away and He rose again the third day for your justification. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 4: 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Galatians 3: 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Stupid sentence of the week: "if your Jewish or a Muslim face the facts-if you reject Isaiah and the Messiah tghen your not a true Jewish or Muslim person-u just claim to follow the truth "

Who are U to judge? Are U God? No i don't think so.

That's all very strange. I just read your sermon that you attached to your question, and it's hard to believe you really believe what you are saying.
If you're Jewish go tell your relatives about your new belief. By the way, maybe you should read Revelation all the way through, not just the part you quoted.
Read it all the way through and come back and tell us more.

David,
You are a christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades christianity.

on the side, the subject of Isaiah 53 is promised a "long life" and "seed" (i.e. physical children). clearly this isn't about jesus.

It is geat that you want to make a positive change in your life! However, accepting the fact that Christ is the Savior and having faith in him is only the first step. It's not enough to say that you believe in Christ. To activate the power of the atonement in your life, you must enter the same covenants Jesus did. For one to truly repent of his sins, he must try to fix his wrong doings and promise not to do them again. He then must be baptized by immersion (as Jesus was). Baptism is an essential step in recieving forgivness of sins, it shows our willingness to make covenants with God. Even Jesus, who was perfect, had to make these covenants to "fulfill all righteousness." I want to bear my testimony to you that if you truly have faith in Jesus and know that he is your Redeemer, and enter the covenant of Baptism, that you can be forgiven of your sins. Heavenly Father and Jesus know and love you as an individual. God and Christ want nothing better than for you, one of God's children, to return to them.
