I hope I would do whatever God wanted me to do. Doing good for someone should not be to get recognition anyway. It should be done to bring Glory to God and to bless the person.

I frequently do things for others and do not want any recognition. Recognition would deplete my joy.

i mostly do my " good deed " thing ( if that's what you want to call it ) online .. anonymously
so i never get recognition for it in person .. and i wouldn't want it to be any other way either
so ill just keep giving and giving the best i can without want and without need for myself .. in fact i do get out of it cause it makes me feel good so isn't exactly for nothing lol

nothing, You move on. what do you do when you don't find something you want in a store? You go to another store.
