Would you send your kid to a Christian school so that he can grow in nuturing welcoming environment or to a regular public school where he will learn much more quickly about the worlds attitudes towards his religion

In response to my terrorist question, I ask if they are brainwashed

Brainwash :" Intensive, forcible indoctrination, usually political or religious, aimed at destroying a person's basic convictions and attitudes and replacing them with an alternative set of fixed beliefs."

Now show me proof that Christians and other religious group members are NOT brainwashed. Remember, part of brainwashing is convincing the victim that they are not brainwashed.

Notice most children from non-Christian households never become Christian, but most children from Christian households do become Christian. The same goes for Islam and other religions. They literally terrorize children by stories of Hell in order to force them to believe what they want them to believe, and failure to do so often turns into making the child feel guilty, ashamed or unloved.

i have nothing against jews, but is israel not illegal? was there not a country before israel that was robbed ?

almost all of the volunteers in the US would be gone. Christians are often times volunteering their free time. While it is easy for me to see the bad aspects of Christianity I can see the good. I think the US would be a lot worst off if all of Christianity were to just disappear. What do you think, am I wrong?

I see a lot of anti-semitism here. Why? Judaism is the ONLY major religion that I respect, and most atheists usually agree with me. I dont believe what they believe in, but they show us respect and dont condemn us to Hell, so therefore as atheists and other non-Jewish people, we should respect them. They seem to be the only decent group here.

I older guy I know from work, Vietnam Vet, told me yesterday an absolutely hilarious(I thought) story. He was heading in to work. An ambulance, with it's lights on, was heading towards him on a undivided 4 lane road and he pulled over. As it passed, he got back into traffic and was nearly hit by a car that didn't pull over for the ambulance. He honked at them and the driver slammed on his brakes and three gangbangers got out and approached his vehicle. They started yelling at him and beating and kicking his car. They told him to get out. This guy has a concealed carry permit and was getting ready to protect himself when a giant lifted truck with a steel brush guard on the front swerved from the open lane into the gangbangers car taking the driver side door clean off.
The door became stuck to the truck, so the driver stopped and got out. He tore the door off of his brush guard and said"Hey monkeys look! Bananas!" as he threw it directly into their windsheild and sped off. Racist?

This is the story.. I went out last night to pick up some food from a fast food place. As I was pulling out and going onto the road, I didn't notice that one of the lanes was merged into another lane due to construction (it was dark and rainy).

A car on the road almost hit me, and it stopped abruptly and thankfully didn't. However this driver was apparently infuriated that I didn't notice him and almost caused an accident. He starts honking at me, over and over. He's behind me on the road, and follows me, turning on his blinders, on and off and on and off. Making it incredibly hard to see. I'm starting to get mad, and I pull over to let him go around me.

He drives around my car, stops in front of me, gets out of his car and starts to beat on mine real angrily. I just bolted out around him and got as far away as I could.

Now my question is.. did I do the right thing? I've been a little on edge ever since and it kind of scares me that I could find myself in that situation.

Definition of terrorism:

"The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments often for religious, ideological or political reasons."

I see this everywhere, Christians protesting gays, even supporting the suspects of the Matthew Shepard incident, and always telling people they will be tortured for eternity if they do not accept their way of thought.

So exactly what is different from them and a terrorist group? They attempt to strike terror into all non-Christians.

There was an 8 year old black girl who was kidnapped around the same time Elizabeth Smart was. The 8 year old chewed her way out of the ropes and made and it back home. It's sad how this little girl did not get as much media attention as Elzabeth Smart. This little girl actually had more reasoning skills and bravery than Smart ( a teenager). It's really sad because I don't even know this little girl's name, but if I did, I would certainly laud her (for she is the one who's actually SMART). I'm not trying to sound mean, but Smart was on Oprah and several other shows getting attention; whereas this gallant little black girl received none. Just another sign of how racist the media is. Black kidnappings receive little or no attention; however, if a white person is kidnapped, it's going to be on the 12, 5, 6, and 10 o'clock news as well as on CNN, Newsweek, and etc. When will America change its ways?

Hey, someone from work always asks how I am, but he only speaks Spanish. I said "eh mas o menos" which I know means more or less cause that's how I felt and didn't want to say "bien." when I really wasn't "bien." hehe. Is that okay or does that sound stupid?? Cause he just smiled like it was funny so I couldn't tell if it was dumb or whatever but okay just wondering..thanks for any help y'all rock! :) GOD BLESS! :D

Why can't people admit that Marijuana is addictive???? IT'S A DRUG and if you have been doing it it's obiously because you like and and want to...you don't get nothing out of it but a skip from reality for a while...so yes I believe it's a drug....I know that the onlly reason it's illegal is because the government wouldn't make money otherwise but still it is a drug....am I the only one who feels this way???

My Grandfather who was a Minister of the Prebyterian Church suggested to me to be forever questioning, searching, etc. This I have done and I really feel that it has become my answer to "Whats it all about". It has confirmed my beliefs in God, as I feel that 1 (one) lifetime is not enough to learn all that we have to learn and so subsequent lives progress us on to spiritual enlightenment. I am always open to new theorys and ideas, so please give this your best - please treat it as a discussion and answer honestly from the heart and not from dogma.
