The founder of the Lutheran Church, Martin Luther, was a virulent anti-semite much quoted by Hitler. In fact, the NAZIs scheduled their "Crystal Night" purge in honor of Martin Luther's birthday! But Catholics shouldn't be too quick to point a finger at Luther's anti-semitism, because he didn't invent it; he developed it in the arms of his mother, the Roman Catholic Church in which he was raised, educated and ordained as an Augustinian monk. Although he "protested" against many of the Catholic Church's beliefs and practices, one belief he embraced rather than rejected was the Catholic Church's contempt for the Jews.

I have heard that there is an airline carrier with a lot of 8's in their flightnumbers as the Chinese for '8' (ba) sounds similar to 'to get rich' (fa cai). I would like to know which airline carrier is meant.
Is this just a story or does one airline company really get to use lots of eights in their flightnumbers?

Maybe this is common...I don't know. My husband was reading through some updated insurance information that he received from his job yesterday, and did you guys know that The Home Depot allows homosexual people to include their Domestic Partners on their insurance plans? If this is old news and is common practice, I apologize. I just thought it was really cool! Do other companies do this?

Shouldn't an omnipotent God be capable of exercising as much justice as injustice for instance? Shouldn't God, theoretically speaking, be capable of as much goodness as malice? .............
