How good is that the religious leaders like Bishops interfering in political issues and making public statements that is actually damaging their image among the believers?. Are they really supposed to do so? Can we conclude this just underheading Politiical leadership and Spiritual leadership?. And also how good is Politics entering in to religious matters...?

It seems that everybody who answers questions can't think but think they have good answers, like, "I don't like war". Stuff like that. Does anyone think anymore?

If we were to find some scribbles on a piece of paper, and ask what they mean, then we would be asking what the person who made the scribbles meant them to signify. Scribbles only mean something if they were made for a reason; if we found out that the scribbles were just drawn at random then we would cease to look for meaning in them. Random scribbles don’t mean anything.

The same is true of life; it only makes sense to ask What is the meaning of life? if we believe that we were put here for a reason. If life simply evolved on Earth by accident, if we just happen to be here, then, it is suggested, life cannot have any meaning in the literal sense. Life can have meaning in the literal sense only if it was created for a purpose. If there is no Creator of life then there can be no meaning of life

One of the most important issues that people must address is the person of Jesus of Nazareth. Some people would rather relegate him to the category of "Good Man" and let that be it, but that is not an option. This man called Jesus existed. There are historical records that have recorded this, Josephus, a Jewish historian says that he was put to death for the crime of treason under Pontius Pilate and there are other historical records indicating His existence. So he wasn't a legend. He lived.

So, was He simply a good man teaching religious philosophy? That is not an option. Either He was what He said He was, He was lying, or He was a lunatic! Those are the only options.

All we have is second information of what Jesus wrote long after Jesus was murdered. For about a hundred years religious/political leaders agrued what would go into the Bible or not go in. Some was kept, some was kick out, back and forth some went. Would it not be nice to have Jesus over for dinner one or two nights a week... in person and I am not even a professed christian.

A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic - on the level with a man who says he is a poached egg - or he would be the devil of hell. You must take your choice. Either this was, and is, the Son of God, or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us.

Although Catholics have been trying to put distance between their church and Hitler since his demise, the fact is that many of those whom Hitler put in charge in the Third Reich were like himself Roman Catholics. Adolf Hitler was brought up as a very devout Catholic, and even though he outgrew that church in many respects, he retained many of its beliefs, and found it to his political advantage to maintain to the bitter end his reputation as a Catholic "in good standing".

They use a particular slaughtering method to get the meat which is called dhabiha. This is done by cutting through the neck of the animal, along with the oesophagus, with one swipe of a non-serrated blade and draining all blood from the animal, because blood consumption is forbidden to Muslims.
Unfortunately, as the blood drains the animals are still alive and you can imagine how much they suffer before they die.

Does your god really want this brutality?

When I was little my parent thought me about religion and certain way how to live this life in the future when I get older.
Until now I always remember and hold what they said.
Sometime I have my own opinion which is tottaly different to what my parent told me,is this the beginnng of my mental freedom?
If you aren't in charge of your own thoughts and opinions, than someone else is. You have an opinion you say? How can you be sure it's really yours?
