Yes, I have, and there is no price, except heightened awareness. When you learn to project your consciousness, sometimes you will pick up on people's thoughts and emotions, etc. Or you may even have pre-cognitions of the future. You will not lose your soul, however.
I was once part of a group studying it, and yes, it's very real, and it was a lot of fun. I highly recommend it!

I would never, ever, attempt that on my own. I would have to have 'professional' guidance and training before I decided it was safe. I went through a period of several years where I had an enemy who used magick to try to pull my 'soul' out of my body. It's been a while, but I'm still too scared to try remote viewing or astral projection on my own.

I have seen it done, don't really believe it. I think that you see what you want to see and hear what you want to hear.
It's suggestive, like the ink blot test. Is something there? Or, are you just seeing something because you want to? Did someone say what or where first? Lucid dreams or day dreaming?
I personally have seen images in wood grain, stains, spills and so on, of Jesus, Mary, dogs, cats, cartoons, plants, letters.
On the phone I have heard the person refer to themselves as God, but it turned out to be Tod or Bob.

That has happened to me a few times. Only when I am free enough to consider interacting. Most of the time, we are busy with daily routines and overlook many amazing things presented to us.
The most obvious example I can give, I met some pen-pals and one day, I wrote them of a dream I had, giving them as much details as I could. There was person there that I had not been introduced to that I described and it very much freaked them out!
I had to mange my new friend as she came through to me with a correspondence. It was weird. but, we settled and went on our way.

It can be done, and can have very useful results, but as with all things, there is a price to pay. Yes, I've done it and still do.
