I was in meditation the other day.. Actually I'm often in meditation... I sat with Jesus and Buddha... Buddha told me to continue with his methods, learn and grow in my soul true compassion, love and wisdom just as all masters have taught. Jesus then told me, once you cleared your mind of all the nonsense, having destroyed your ego I can introduce you to God and then it will be up to you to go further.
But it was made clear to me by both of them that God will not be interested if even one piece of ego remains in my soul.
I turned to Buddha as if to ask him "is this the truth" he only put his arm around Jesus... and wrote in my mind "this is the way it is"
“Love all the world”… My body was flooded with tears of sadness and happiness.
See this in your mind…"I inhale pain and suffering and only expel love". Concentrate on this and ego will die and you will love to live and live to love.
Drink this and your soul will never thirst for love again.

In the New Testament there's a passage in which Jesus clearly tells a woman that in the future nobody would care if Jerusalem, Gerizim, or whatever was the "proper", "holy", whatever place to pray, as everyone would pray in their own souls.
However, when I see so many Christians (I am one BTW) caring about Jerusalem, getting involved with Israel's politics, $upporting that land, etc I ask myself "Don't those people read?"

I was walking with my friend Jenna, and this boy who was like a high school age guy walked by us, grabbed my boob and Jenna's butt, and then ran out of the mall exit. We were embarrassed and in shock. I felt weird after like I should have something, but what? By the time security would have gotten there, the guy was long gone.

Everyone has to put there sexual preferance in a label and in a brand like Gay, Straight, Bi or Lesbian. Why does it have to be like that? Why can't we just be free from labels and stereotypes?

Situational Ad Hominem: You just say that global warming may have non-human causes because you work for the oil industry. Don't show me those made up facts of similar planetary warming on Mars!
Ilicit Major: God is love Love is blind. Stevie Wonder is blind. Stevie Wonder is god.
No True Scotsman: No true Scotsman has their Scotch with ice! But Mr McCool has Scotch with ice and he's from Glasgow! McCool's not a true Scotsman!

I know that the Da Vinci Code is only a novel. But lets say, HYPOTHETICALLY, that Jesus did marry and had a child and had a direct descendant walking among us today. What do you think Christians would see this person as? How do you think Christianity would be different if it was know all along that Jesus had a child and wife?

There wasn't a Jewish state then. They controlled all of their own lands. There is a book I have, printed in 1918, that tells of how they declared Jihad and then tried to kill every Christian and Jew from modern day Pakistan to Syria. One account in my book tells of mass beheadings where the Euphraites river ran red with blood and headless bodies of the non-believers where seen by the thousands in the river. Only women and girls that converted where saved and taken as wives. All of the men and boys were slaughtered. Once the dust cleared at the end of WW1, we had conquered these barbarians and things settled down for awhile. Why would a religion of peace do this?

why does anyone need to be a part of an organized religion?
im totally spiritual but im not religious. i dont understand why people feel the need to push people into being catholic, or jewish, or whatever their religion may be. why can't one just believe what they want to believe?! . . without being forced to do otherwise. no one can say that one religion is the right one. like i said, god has no religion (ghandi said that). it doesn't matter what religion you are. all that matters is that you're a good person and possibly, even to have faith in him.

Now what IF i say that one day I was walking in the desert of Arabia n i found this mobile phone in the desert..made through chance......"the sun was shining ...oil spewing from the ground and after millions n millions of years ...circuits formed one by one, the sand changed to silica......silica to the silicon chip and oil changed to the plastic casing through evolution".!!...

Wouldnt it be harder to be an atheistic parent raising a child. Wouldnt the main thing you can tell a child is do this because I you say so, not because it has some greater moral purpose.
If your 14 year old daughter came home at 2AM with a gigantic tattoo on her back, a chain that is connected to the rings of both of her newly pierced nipples, smelling of alcohol, marijuana, and sex, would an atheistic parent be upset or perhaps thrilled that his/her daughter is making decisions for herself and living life to the fullest. Even if this parent was upset, what could they say to the daughter? In an atheistic household, what makes one persons moral views and decision making better than anothers.
Of course I know there are many moral wonderful kids who come from the homes of atheist, but it seems like it would be more work and its more of a gamble on if they turn out the way you would hope or not.
