The whole world would be a lot worse! Christians bring love and faith to the world. However, there will be a time soon when all true Christians are called away to serve God in Heaven. That time will be the Tribulation, and it will be a very scary place indeed for all those left behind. There will be those that will find God after the Rapture, so there will never be a time when Christianity is fully gone from the world.

No I don't think the volunteers would be gone. There are people who volunteer that aren't Christian and those that do still would. They do it based on their own inner morals not based on the fact they are Christian. I think there are more Christian volunteers because there are more Christians.

I know that i am mostaly biased because i too am a christian but when you look at it not just as a faith but a way of life and living with morals is like saying.
If half of america did not have morals and joined the other half allready without them then yes america would be in alot of trouble.
i say this as allready there are big problems with many issues randing from guns to what is now a growing threat Pedofilia. without honest good people things like that would run rampent and level america to countrys where kids are openly sold into that sort of thing without real fear of being punished.

Freemasons volunteer at the Shriners hospitals, and if not for the Christians, our numbers would be far higher. They persecuted us in the 1800s and we were nearly destroyed, but now we volunteer all the time, the only idfference is that we dont take credit for it.

Nothing will change.
Muslims do charity, jews, sikh, Buddhists,Hindus have been extending charity for thousands of years.
Atheist also not only give money to charity, they also start them, they also help people that live around them.
Of course not ALL people from ALL groups are charitable.
If we done away with religion all together, it is highly likely there wouldnt be as much of a need for so called charities.(which many times the aid is for the military of the 'impoverished' nation)
*I dont list atheist with the religions because atheist is not a religion.

While it is true that a lot of churches volunteer their time, a lot of them also march in front of hospitals to protest abortion. If Christians did not exist I think we'd all get on with our lives.
Also, I'm not a Christian and I volunteer. same with most of my family.

I am from asia currently in US and people still believe in some religion and do volunteering...
They will do it, even if there were no christianity... they will choose another god to do that...
Because volunteering happens and is happenning...in whatever culture/religion they believe....even if they dont believe in any god...There are some good people and they just need to make some reasons for doing volunteering....

Well, most Christians live morally good lives, and are everwilling to help others when help is needed, or if volunteers are needed for a good cause. But, then you have the wolves in sheep's clothing who label themselves "Christian", but they're crooked and wicked and abuse Christianity.
