The answer!
"It is not possible to always show love and never be rewarded" so...
It is fundamentally important to "ALWAYS SHOW LOVE" if you do not then others will not show you love… why should they?

To show love is to always be rewarded. Love can only grow by sharing it. The more you give, the more you get back. We're conditioned to look for love outside ourselves; to look for someone to love us or some group to belong to, and to fill us up. The love we seek is inside(meditation helps find it) and even if there are no visible rewards from showing it we're still rewarded cuz love not shared with all stagnates. It's like a well: if the water just sits there it will stagnate; it's useless. When buckets of water are given out it keeps the well water fresh.

If you show people how much you love them, and this love really comes from the heart, you will not wait for a reward in return. Sometimes, the earthly rewards, you do not actually experience, but have you tried to count how many blessings you have received? Maybe the reward you are waiting for is not in the form you were expecting, maybe it is something like " a blessing in disguise".

That old saying 'what goes around comes around' is still valid...but I wouldn't get caught up looking for people to reward you for your works, whether emotionally or by gratuity...not everyone is grateful nor is everyone capable of showing appreciation even if they are grateful.
Doing loving things because it's what needs to be done at that time. Let your good conscience and peace of heart reward you.

never fear that your efforts will ignored..they will not...but don't look for instant gratification..just know that you will get yours in the end...don't worry about when....
