Those whom you love you call by the sweetest, most endearing and loving names.you make every effort to attract them and win their favor by words of praise and love.Yet, the One to whom we owe our highest respect, honor, reverence, and devotion is denied all the glory that is due to Him because of mankind's stupidity. Men try to court His favor and blessing by throwing words of curses in His face! They not only insult Him but call him by the names and titles used for devils and satan himself. If one is to know or try to analyze the Creator by the names men fling at him, He could be indefinable, indefinite, indescribable, animate or inanimate, breathing or breathless - no one knows.Man does not know who or what He is simply because he does not know his name. Many will say, "It is god!"Then we may ask, "what god?"The answer will probably be "The god."The Creators true name is YAHWEH. Hallelujah

All I want is to be happy and content. My doctor has me on antidepressants and it's just not helping. I go to church regulary and study the Bible and pray daily. What is wrong with me? Why can't I just be happy?

why go gays think that ...just because you love somthing its right???

one religion [loves] to kill another religion ,is that right?
gay men [love] to have sex with boys , is that right?
people[ love] to have sex with animals, is that right?

just because people [love somthing ], why dose that make it ok to do??

jefery damer[ loved to eat people] dose it make it ok for him to eat people?

why is [love] a justification , for any kind of perverted acts?

I apparently hurt a persons feelings today I am very sorry. I guess I just dont understand sometimes why people ask all these questions about the Bible to a complete stranger instead of reading and finding out for themselves. I am sorry. Jesus loves you.

When joseph found out that Mary was pregnant he must have asked her whose child it was (as they had never had sex). Mary claimed that God was the father.

Is it possible that this was just an excuse she told joseph because she had been having an affair and didn't want joseph to find out?

It's God's child - thats the oldest excuse in the book!

If you were joseph would you believe her?

Buddha lived around 560 B.C., Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses even Isaiah (700)B.C. lived by God's covenants, truths and laws way before this guy came along. They prophecied of Jesus, they understood His principles and nature. Buddha himself when asked to define the state of nirvana replied that he himself had never tried to solve this question, He just wanted to show man the way to escape the suffering of life, not to describe what he would find once he had been liberated. Buddha appears to have been sincere but severly misguided and yet so many people worship him or his way instead of worshipping the one who is truth. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the life, no one can come to the Father but through me. How sad that people seek all else.

I am not saying Muslims are bad people. Most of them are very nice people. But compared to all the religions, the chances of being a religious extremist are much much higher if one is a Muslim. It has been that way since Mohammed founded Islam in the 6th century.

I think Islam teaches religious conquests. Even Mohammad did religious conquests. Even the Christians performed massacres in the name of religion in the medieval times... and the Muslims did too! Muslims went on conquests and destroyed churches and other places of worships.

Over the years Christians have moved away from the religious fanaticism. Hindus, Buddhists were never fanatics. But the Muslims have got stuck in the 6th century. They are just not coming out. Had it been not for the OIL (thanks to the combustion engine), middle east would have been the poorest regions.

Can anyone explain to me why does Islam produce extremists "consistently" for last 1500 years?

Time to question Islam.

Don't you know that scientists are now disagreeing with the old theory that the universe is expanding from a central point now that they can see more of the universe? Why do people gamble their whole life on changeable scientific theory instead of God?

...and God catches me walking around in my bedroom wearing nothing but a leather crotch-less panty, would He be upset with me?

Would He cuff me behind the ear and send me straight to Purgatory?

I want to limit the chances of that happening.

Thanks!

Our society seems geared to push everyone faster and faster. Meanwhile, the time traditionally given to children (Three luxurious months in summer) is either stolen to keep them in inefficient schools even longer, or is filled with meaningless babble from TV, Radio, i-pods, etc. Does anyone still take necessary time to think about important issues, like what you want to do with your life, who is pulling the strings of this society, what you are truly good at, what is the basis of your religion, and does it really make sense, (Scientific Humanism is a real, if unofficial, religion, and is subscribed to by most who claim that there is no god.)

..."...keep up with the Joneses."...

Do you, or does anyone you know, try to do do this?

If not, is it because your are a member of the "Jones" family?

And if you ARE a "Jones", do you think other "non-Joneses" are trying to keep up with you?...

..and...

Is the phrase a statement of passive envy, or is it just another head-rattling cliche?...

Your thoughts?...
