Is it possibe to have dreams that can tell you something you want to know in the future? Like if something will happen in a week or month or whatever? If this is possible, how can you do this? Is there a way to do this?

about the faiths that they would not believe in and then expect those who don't believe as them to learn about their faith?I suggest that before you would say such things you first ACTUALLY read the WHOLE BOOK of the Holy Book of Fairies and ALL it's Chapters and Books before you answer.I have read the Bible.Time for you to read about my faith!

And I wonder how few will take the time to learn about other faiths like mine....

I'm not asking for proof, just wondering how you feel belief is necessary in your life. What does it do for you? Also could you imagine being able to live without belief? What would your life be like without belief? Do you believe that nonbelievers are able to live equally fullfilling lives as you? Besides the fact that believers think that non believers will go to hell what are the benefits? Do you think that non believers are able to live with just a deep respect for theirs and every other persons life? All believers welcome to reply, not just christians. I'm NOT INTERESTED in an evolution/creationism/intelligent design argument since none of these ideas represent fact, just theories and beliefs. I would just like to hear your opinion of the value of belief or the value of disbelief. I personally am an atheist which means that in my opinion there are no gods, devils, ghosts, spirits, souls, angels, afterlife, supernatural, everything that is, is natural, etc. Thanks.

Well, there's prejudging and judging, just like there's arrogance and confidence, the only thing that separates the two is knowledge. Education is important, just like faith, you can and should have both. Why then do some Christians fear science and open-minded or free discussion? They are the ones without faith, I believe, as Jesus said oh ye of little faith, because they do not trust God to always have the answers, for there are as many answers as there are questions, as they say, so I ask, where is your faith fear-oriented or fundamental Christians, where is YOUR faith?

PS

I'm sorry if this question comes off harsh, but I am sick of being told at times that I'm not a real Christian because I have doubts and questions and I use my God given mind to find the answers as best I can. I have been afraid to call myself Christian for a long time because I did not want to be lumped in with these prejudges people.

It's a well-known fact that in the Chinese culture, married people give red packet money to single people during the Chinese New Year. How about people who are divorced? Do they still get red packet money?

People should be given access to the means to protect themselves from disease, that Aids is mainly a sexually transmitted disease should not change the way we approach disease prevention, keeping people alive and healthy should be the first priority of any Aids prevention programme... not pushing a religious dogma.

One of my coworkers has a heavy foreign accent. She is from Taiwan and needless to say she gets joked about regarding her accent behind her back. I'm not sure if I should tell her about it; stand up for her or what. I already know she is embarrassed by the way she speaks English. Any suggestion would be good. Kind of sucks seeing someone get picked on.

When jesus told his followers to spread his words, at the time there was no paper, so christians today, without written paper won't know what to do, god doesn't speak anymore. Even catholics divagated a lot from the written epistles, inventing a lot of things that "god told them to do" like burning men of science as "heretics"

Before you get your undies in a bunch, I didn't say all of them. I have friends who are atheists, I have classmates who are atheists, and I've had teachers who are atheists. I love them to bits, and about the overwhelming majority of them respect my christianity. I respect other people's decisions, wheter they decide to be buddist, muslim, jewish, or atheists. But on this website I've run into some very rude judgements about christianity. Most of them are untrue, saying that people beleive in God because they're unwilling to face that there is no fate, or unable to make they're own decisions (even though Christians make decisions every day, just like everyone else) or unwilling to face that they are "alone." My question is how do you know? How do you know whether we are alone, or whether there is fate, or what we were thinking when we decided to be christian?

i'm sort of an agnostic atheist (or whatever,i don't label myself), i somehow hope there is a form of Higher Power in this universe, that spreads an energy of Love.I have no idea what and where, but i hope it's out there.I don't blindly believe in it.I do not believe the biblical God is real.

I see a lot of Christians complaining how they get bashed by atheists. Somehow i understand that. They don't believe in a God, you all do. Almost every question they ask implies a question about the absense of God, because that's their belief. You take offense to those questions because to you God is a real concept.

I can understand that a question about the absense of God hurts you more than it would hurt an atheist to hear abt God.

I read the Bible, and i truly have lots of questions about it. Sometimes the Bible makes me angry, sometimes it makes me just doubt, sometimes it even gives me more faith.

In what format can non-believers ask questions so that you will feel less offended?

My basis for the question is this:
1) Evolutionary Theory is (admittedly) only 75 -80% supported by evidence.
2) Allopathic medicine is not evn 15% supported by evidence(JAMA April 1996)
3) Both are based on biology, chemistry, etc.

I personally subscribe to both Evolutionary Theory and medicine, with certain acceptions. I simply wonder how some one can be a creationist and still justify taking their kids to the doctor, with at least 6 times less evidence supporting that second choice? If you do not have an intelligent argument, please do not simply disagree with the premises, they are factual. And no "it's just a theory" arguments, it just shows that you are ignorant of the difference between a theory and an hypothesis.

I know how Christians 'feel' 'preach' about Homosexuality. They treat it as it it's a 'choice' and granted for some it is. But there are numerous reports that it's genetic. Like hair color and eye color. I'm not trying to open Pandora's box and I don't want people preaching to me. I am a heterosexual Christian with a family. I have a lot of friends that are gay though. They are innately gay, they don't choose it. It has been proven to be genetic, so how does Christianity handle this.

I have heard many muslims say that the world is 4.5 billion years old, as in accordance to Science, but science also says we evolved from apes, humans have not been on the Earth for 4.5 billion years, this 2 questions really 1)If Muslims believe in Evolution, do they believe in the Darwinian idea that we evolved from Apes? 2)if they dont believe we evolved from Apes, how long have humans been on the Earth? just three further notes *short understandable answers please, not huge cut and pastes. and second note *dont say nobody knows this answer, because I have been told time and again by muslims that "Islam can answer EVERYTHING!" Third note, *dont tell me to pray and ask God because I want answers now!
