a psychic vampire is someones that is constantly hungry for emotional response from others, and is never satisfied.
Example: If you loved me you would give me all that I want, they have no understanding about limitations to getting what they want. Even if you tried they would not be satisfied with what they are being even. There would be another list they would present to you to prove that you loved them.
There are many different examples of psychic vampires the above is only one.

Ever have a friend who is always calling you when they're down? Then by the end of the conversation, they're bright and chipper and you are drained for the rest of the day? Ever wonder why they're your friend in the first place? You know, one of those people you meet, don't really like, but you find that you can't tell them to go away > You know that friend? That's one example of a psychic vampire. That's just the low grade kind. The worst are the ones who KNOW that they're doing it and do it on purpose.........

learn from a distance, they're also called energy vampires. if you've even been around someone who leaves you feeling drained and hopeless you've met the vampire. you must psychically shield yourself. imagine a ball of white light so bright and powerful nothing can penetrate it, see it feel it make it real. as long as you keep this shield in place no one can drain you. i really don't recommend staying in the company of one of these folks they may not even know what they're doing but you must protect yourself.

Some empaths are just adicted to serten emotional energies.
Not many are the traditional sence of a vampire where they NEED it.
