Tobacco is one of the products of Americas. It was the Europeans that brought it back to Europe. That is a historical fact.
I don't recall the bible (Christian bible) ever mentions tobacco; and since the Christian bible is God's word as spoken by the prophets, Christians have no guidance with regard to tobacco.
It is clear that you are a nonbeliever expecting answers from a logical discourse. We are dealing with belief not scientific facts. God reveals and man observes. You observations are hide sight at best, and you are observing the negative aspects of tobacco use and other things.
Men are weak by nature and that includes you. We will all die and nothing you can do will change that. The only thing that you really have control over is what you believe. You observe and may find something that you can believe in. but your faith will not be rational, even your negative belief that help you form this question.

Humans are human with inconsistencies, contradictions, foibles regardless of their particular religion.
Isn't it wonderful that we have the freedom to make statements about religion here.
We owe that freedom not to religion but to democracy that allows us freedoms that religious tyrannies would deny.
