Feelings get hurt easily... especially when there is a misunderstanding involved... so I am hopeful that whoever was hurt can forgive your miscommunication... I'm sure you didn't intend it.
As Christians we are called to be able to give an answer for why we believe (yeah... the Bible tells us to have an answer ready).
Something that we as Christians need to remember is that sometimes people don't have anyone else to talk to... and sadly sometimes we as Christians can seem very judgemental... we don't mean to be... we just come off that way...
Think of this forum as little Bible study group... and a stranger wanders in because he has a question about something he once heard... or something he saw... or something he thought... in a live group, we wouldn't turn that person away and tell them to read and find out for themselves, right???
You should be proud of yourself... not many Christians have the presence of mind to apologize for misunderstandings....

being rude is a natural feeling for something you think is not worth of your time and sense of feeling. but being sorry for what you have done, may it your fault or not, and accepting and realizing it makes a great person. That helps you to be closer to GOD and that could be your strongest point where people tend to like you more. Continue your good habits and you will be rewarded. Goodluck!

You must be Catholic, you got that whole guilt thing going on....anyway I once knew a guy who's parents were so anti-religion that if he was caught with a Bible he would have been beat. So....even if they don't read the Book themselves at least they are giving you the chance to pass it on!

God teaches us to be bold and confident in what we believe in. Of course, do not make fun of them or degrade them personally. Boldness positively is always rewarded. Meeting people is a good start in bringing on a following. Don't worry, I am in the same prediction of people showing offense. Read The Bait Of Satan because this book gives insight that offense is choice, not mandatory. God Bless you and what you do!

Very nicely said. Don't take being rude too seriously. We are still human and it's the grace that takes us from ourselves to the place where you are! I admire your willingness to apologize.
Christ loves you too!

Good girl. Just pray for them. Eventually the Holy spirit will condemn them and intercede for them.
