No, I wouldn't because it doesn't matter to me. People are people and that's all I see.

This is a fact and not a put down. The whole world and all of its inhabitants are Black. Go to the library and yes, you will have to go back some centuries. We all came from Africa - This was the starting point. The coloring was dark, hair was rough and the skin was thick and tough. As people moved to other lands from this space on Earth, the skin coloring got lighter even white, the nose shapes became slimmer and the skin even got thinner. Why? The climate was colder and fiercer and the body's shapes and other features had to be acclimated to the various weather conditions. Some of the places had the severest of weather. As time went by and people did not go back to the hot place, Africa, where they originated from, they retained the looks that are affixed upon them today. The Lord Himself, is made of burnt bronze. This is located in most Bibles, or a librarian can look it up for you. I suspect that many a person will cut his/her throat because they don't want to be what they are - Black. I personally try to respect and love all people and living things that God has made. I want God to be happy with me. As the song goes, I want to be in that number - "When The Saints Go Marching In." Read Psalm 35 to (Plead My Cause) - It is long winded but it is on the case. Also read Psalm 4 for (Safety and Protection ) from undue occurrences. Remember this, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Know that, "God daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation - Psalm 68:19. Don't worry about skin color, only the color of your heart and soul. God loves you and so do I. Peace and God Bless.

Actually, I AM black (not mixed with any other race in the past 2 generations) and I get mistaken for being hispanic all the time. It doesn't offend me because I'm not a racist person, and I don't have an issue where my race and skin color are concerned. I LOVE being black!

Perhaps you have Black ancestors you are not aware of. When European Ships came to explore the Americas, there were many Black explorers, clergy and crew members...you never know. As for the person who said you can tell by features, you are mistaken. I am Black and am frequently asked if I am of Mexican, Native Americanor Middle Eastern Descent.

Malcolm X stated it ultimate..."you have been bamboozled!" actual, this prejudice could stem from a similar nonsense that White women human beings additionally adventure. the theory that lady elegance is honest, and that a guy is perceived as greater virile if he's "tall, darkish, and good-looking." (Do blondes somewhat have greater exciting? i assume women human beings like Lil' Kim tried to determine!) i assume this constrained way of thinking has made its way into our custom. fortuitously, that is not an fairly pervasive theory. Like many others right here, I by no skill heard it in the previous. for specific, i think of it somewhat is a very fake theory. elegance is individual, no count the colour of your epidermis.

Hell no--I mean when you consider the number of people in the world and how few are completely white, you have to recognize the fact that black isn't the only other alternative. There are sooooooooooo many different races and mixes, you can't see someone who isn't white and just say, "Oh, they're black."

I come from a diverse school district--we have Indian kids darker than black kids. I probably wouldn't assume that you were black, but of some kind of South American origin.

no. i wouldn't assume that at all. besides looking at the colour of the skin, i look at the facial features. hispanic & black facial features are drastically different. so, i don't know why people would call you black when you're actually not in the first place...

My ex was an indain and everyone kept callling her a mexican. So it happens to everyone. Not a big deal. Just means you can have any one you want from white to black. So sometime it is nice to be in the middle and can have the best of both worlds.

I wouldn't think you were black. There's a huge difference between being dark brown and dark tan.

I've never really given this any consideration simply because I fail to see color...I see people, male, female, tall, short...whatever. I really don't consider color at all. To me everyone is a potential friend even if I never get to meet them personally.

Hope you don't continue to run into uneducated people...good luck
