but i like someone whos not the same reglion as is it a good idea to make them the same religion as me so we can be together

More specifically -

An Atheist tries to break down a Christian's beliefs. What do they care? If there really is no God, does it harm anyone? I've been attacked many times for being a Christian, but I am very accepting and I have many friends who are Atheist, and I do not attack their beliefs. I firmly believe that everyone should have their own belief and their own stance.

I am blessed (or cursed!!) with a sarcastic frame of mind :-(( And sometimes that seeps into my questions too! And I have noticed many people here don't seem to understand when someone is been sarcastic...or ironic....


So I want to ask...

Do you understand Sarcasm and Irony? How would you define it??

Are these phenomenas cultural..or depending on an expertise in the language??

I personally wouldn't say it is cultural...despite..it being a British myth 'that Americans don't understand irony' Because I have seen many Americans you understand irony..Whilst at the same time I have come across many Brits who don't....


What do you think??? Can you explain why some people like and understand irony..and others don't

Is Irony..a good or a bad thing?? (Should I refrain from using it because not everybody understands it??)

A new Halal butchers is opening opposite where I work and I have never purchased or eaten meat prepared this way. I have eaten Kosher meat and enjoyed it, and I am looking forward to this new butchers opening. Can anyone tell me the advantages and disadvantages please?

I welcome comments from all religious groups and also people who do not eat meat as part of their religious beliefs.

I have never been a good speller. I always got as in math, science, and geography. I like to think that I am smart. I can read and comprehend words as well if not better than most of my peers, but I can not spell them! I went to high school and am going to college. I graduated high school at the top of my class, and am getting great grades in college, but it bugs people that I am not a good speller! Why is that? No one is perfect right! So why should I be?

I say hell no theres no Gay white dude out there that knows what it's like to be Born a Black Man period. Gay people have thier struggle and still are fighting for rights. But that in no way compares to what blacks have been through in this country and we we continue to fight for. I'm not down playing anything I just think it's like comparing Apples and Oranges. Even a Gay balck person has to see that being black and being gay they may face completely seperate issues. What fires me up a little bit is when people say A black woman has more rights than a Gay person. To me it sounds like you talking down about my black women. Like thats the most insulting thing. Back in the Day a Horse had more rights than a black person Seriosuly you could kill a horse and go to jail you kill a black man you got a coloring book it sucked yea but we made it yall will to. Being Gay and Being Black not even close. I don't want drama just a good healthy Debate.

Jackie chan, OBVIOUSLY IGNORANT AND WITH NO ILL WILL, repeats it and a fight ensues.

White people invented the word by corrupting the word ***** (latin root meaning black)

If it is wrong for anyone to say it, it is wrong for all to say it!
