I ask not that you believe in me. I need no such thing. I plead to you to believe in one another. Come toghether under the banner of humanity. Throw away your pesky religions all dedicated to I. That which needs no worship, that which need no sacrifice. Look into your lives children. Hate, deciet, judgement, retribution, revenge,

for these things are within you but you see not the love. YOu have been created in all capicities yet all you find to do is subdue and ridicule. It is this reason that death strikes without notice or warning.

Fear me not fear your own actions for the thread you burn shall ignite your own fate

When faced with a seemingly overwhelming number of posts which you may consider anti-religious, do you "turn the other cheek" or go for the "eye for an eye" method of responding? Why?

For people that are supposed to be full of god's love, there are some pretty hateful Christians out there who condem anyone who does not think 100% as they do. They completely disregard the concept of doing unto others as they would have done unto themselves and all sin is equal. In my experience, I have met more loving compassionate homosexuals than I have compassionate christians. Do they lack self esteem and confidence and need to make up for it by calling everyone else "sinners" thus boosting their ego? Does the church fullfil their need to be a part of something? What do you honestly think causes this?

Please be open-minded and don't insult as I'm asking to understand:

1- Is the life limited to 120 years? According to: Genisis 6:3 and Genisis 11:11??

2- How many singers? 200 or 245? According to Ezra 2:65 and Nehemiah 7:67?

3-How did Judas die? Was it like in Matthew 27:5 or Acts 1:18??

4-Why did Jesus deny divinity? In Mark 10:17-18 and Luke 18:18-19? (PLEASE don't say he was humble, Jesus would never lie to be humble, God's sends never lie).

5-Why did Jesus use the word ALSO in John 14:1? Is it because he and Almighty God are the same or different?

6- Would a god thank another God? Like in: Luke 10:21, or would a god pray like in:John 14:16, 17:1, 17:9, 17:11, 17:15, or would deity be helpless as in John 5:19, 5:30, 7:28, 8:28, or would a god be an intercessor like in: Romans 8:34? Or would a god have a god? John 20:17

If you gave me verses that prove that divinity of Jesus, where he says: I'm a god, worship me, they would contradict those. So please answer!

I am an avid Chicago Cubs fan. I grew up loving the Cubs, and I will love the Cubs until the day I die. Now at my work we are not allowed to wear hats. But everyday I noticed that a certain group of people were wearing some sort of a religious turban. This is apparently an ok thing since it is religious based. Now I am in no way descriminating these people. A lot of them are my friends, however my question comes again. What defines religion. So about a week later I decided to wear my favorite Cubs hat. You can probably guess it, I got in trouble. In a recent question posted by dantherandommanapple, some answers to the same question I ask were as follows. A cause, principle, or activity pursued with zeal or conscientious devotion. Does the fact that I am a Cubs fan count as a religion? I watch nearly every Cubs game with "zeal" and "conscientious devotion."

Would there be any reason to do well in school, behave yourself in public, (for example, gangs, vandalism, stealing, or violent behaviors ) or abuse drugs or alcohol if you knew that you were going to get paid the same as someone who was fairly, um, for the lack of a better word, righteous? Indeed, if you were caught doing something, you would end up in jail or prison, but when you got out, you have just as good a chance at a job as the next guy. My opinion is that if you are a decent citizen, you should enjoy the preferential scale in pay. You put in the time, made the sacrifices to stay out of trouble and the reward should be a better life than the the slacker.

Intellegent Design is gaining momentum daily and soon will be THE method of choice to teach the children of tomorrow the glory of Creationism and the wonder of Evolution - AT THE SAME TIME!

Are your children ID ready? If not you must burn those evil science text books and inform your children of the gloriousness of Intelligent Design. ID practices Science Harmoniously Integrating Theology (also refered to as S.H.I.T.)

Do you want your S.H.I.T.-less children to be left behind?

Intellegent Design - coming soon to a school near you.

Its nearly impossible to walk down the street and meet anyone with a relatively accurate sense of reality.
Television is raping us of our sense of self (worth, esteem, identity etc..)
Advertisers redefine beauty, power, and blur the lines between luxury and necessity, reality and fiction.
T.V. for many has replaced intellectual chatter between families and friends. It has replaced our critical self reflection time, our time to go out and do something creative, something productive. It is a shame that a device that connects so many people and has such potential to change the world for good by educating and provoking meaningful thought is used as a tool by corporations to brainwash the masses for their profit.
If you've ever felt "not pretty enough to be successful" or that you could boost your self worth owning a certain something you saw in a commercial, then you are a victim.
We are damaging our health in more ways than one. We need our sense of reality back. Philosophy saves.

There is a prophetical statement told by prophet Muhammed and related by Muslim [114] that women will constitute the majority of people in hell. However, there is another prophetical statement, which is also related by Muslim [3006] that every man in the heaven will have two wives from people he'd loved in his life.

Doing some math, I would say that, based on the latter statement, women will constitute at least two thirds in heaven. Giving that the number of men and women has been always equal (or almost equal), I would say that women will constitute only ONE THIRD in hell (which is not majority).

Does anyone have an answer for this contradiction?

Religion: Is it a way to comfort man, to give him meaning in life and hope for an afterlife? Or is it a poison, a plague on mankind, a tool developed and used to tear mankind apart from each other and ruin society?

What's your take?

magic, yeah. But ghosts, not really.but then this guy died in my dad's hotel.well, my daddy owns 2 hotels here in Anaheim, and 1 year ago we had a costumer who came in and said he wanted a room.so the manager my dad hired gave him a quite room on the other side of the hotel. He was fine, handsome, and healthy looking, he even asked for the remote control and spa service. so yeah, the second morning the maid went to knock on his door, (check out time) and then no one answered, so she got the key and opened the door, and the guy was sleeping on the bed, and then she said that she saw a gun pocking out of his back, and the mattress was soaked with blood. They cleaned the room, new beds, and then the manager sold it to a guy, and he came in the second day and complained that his night was terrible(no one knows that ppl died), and he said that the bed was like moaning all night, and there are ice cold things flowing around him all night, and he cant sleep. just hearing that made my hair stand
