magic, yeah. But ghosts, not really.but then this guy died in my dad's hotel.well, my daddy owns 2 hotels here in Anaheim, and 1 year ago we had a costumer who came in and said he wanted a room.so the manager my dad hired gave him a quite room on the other side of the hotel. He was fine, handsome, and healthy looking, he even asked for the remote control and spa service. so yeah, the second morning the maid went to knock on his door, (check out time) and then no one answered, so she got the key and opened the door, and the guy was sleeping on the bed, and then she said that she saw a gun pocking out of his back, and the mattress was soaked with blood. They cleaned the room, new beds, and then the manager sold it to a guy, and he came in the second day and complained that his night was terrible(no one knows that ppl died), and he said that the bed was like moaning all night, and there are ice cold things flowing around him all night, and he cant sleep. just hearing that made my hair stand

wow that is some story. but i dont believe in spirits ( ghosts ). i think those are imaginary and in your head. now about that guy who slept in the room after there was a murder in there, i cant explain that. he might believe in ghosts and maybe had it in his head that there was something wrong.
but i dont believe in ghosts and these stories that people tell about ghosts and spirits are like made up stories from their heads or minds i should say.
i am a christian and i dont believe that after someone dies that it could be possible for their spirit to stay on earth and haunt others. i believe that either your spirit goes to Heaven or Hell and your body stay on earth.
i do believe in Angels. we all have a gaurdian angel that is always around us.
i really dont know what to say about your story. i think it sounds freaky in someway and also made up. not by you, but maybe by the guy who slept in that bed after the murder.
who knows.

Your post was a bit long, so I'm just going to answer the questions hehe...Yes, I believe in both, but not ghosts. I believe that we don't hang in the balance once we die; we either go to heaven or hell. I also believe that there are spirits, however. These can be good or bad ones. The good ones were sent as guides and the bad ones were sent to mislead us. I feel though, that if we don't fear the bad ones, we don't need to be afraid. I tend to believe this because I have been in the astral world by astrally projecting. If you are interested in exactly what astral projection is, I'll put a link in this answer so you can read about it. It's to a Yahoo group I'm a member of. I won't take time in this message to explain it in detail. It's basicly an out of body experience, though.

i believe there are lots of things that happen that are unexplainable or magical. my dad died last september. he was very active and only 67. he became sick one day and had a masive brain stem stroke that night. he was placed on a ventilator and a neurosurgeon examined him and did tests and said there was no chance of recovery. my mom signed the paper to remove the ventilator and it was done. everyone took it very hard. dad lived through the night and i was able to get my mom, brother and sister to come back to the hospital the next day. he was very peaceful and looked like he was sleeping. the extra time with him was what they needed to say goodbye. he died that evening at 7:10pm. i still feel him around when i go over to mom's house. yes, i believe in spirits.

The bible says that once you die you yield up your ghost. But no ghost flies around the earth haunting u to make life miserable to certain people. As for magic, it's all opical illusion. Once we went to a show and were sitting at an angle so that we could see backsage. This guy threw his twenty on the stage to make it seem as if it disappeared, afterwards he started looking for it.It was highly funny
