There's nothing wrong with questioning the validity of something - nothing at all. However, I don't think the life after death thing is worth getting paranoid about mate; I'd just concentrate on enjoying the life you've got now if I were you!

The reason you are so busy thinking about the end of life is because you are nervous or afraid of it. It is fear that drives you. Are you thinking of dying soon? The bible says the end of our lives is just like being asleep. It speaks of all the dead as being asleep. When we are asleep it is a form of death. We see only darkness and have no memory or consciousness. So it is with death. It is a long, deep sleep from which we don't wake up. The dead are not alive now, they are dead. But when Christ returns then things will change. Then those who are dead in Christ shall rise and the living shall be transformed and meet him in the clouds. The future? for those born of God, paradise. For those not born of God? Depends if they pass the judgement. It's easy to pass, according to God you've just got to accept Christ. (Romans 10:9 and 10), then you don't have to worry. So, there is no mystery to death. It has no sting. It is just a sleep until the return then it's wake up time to the new heaven and earth.
I hope this answers your question and helps cure the paranoia.

When the inevitable event happens, there shall be none to belie its happening. It will be a calamity which will abase and exalt. The earth shall be shaken all of a sudden, and the mountains shall crumble and become as scattered dust. You, then, shall be divided into three classes: People of the right hand: Oh, how (fortunate) shall be the people of the right hand! And the people of left hand: Oh, how (unfortunate) shall be the people of the left hand! And the foremost shall still be the foremost. They will be those nearest (to God). They shall abide in the Gardens of bliss. Most of them will be from among the former people and a few from among those of latter day. They will be reclining on jeweled couches, facing each other. Eternal youths shall go round them briskly with brimful goblets and beakers and cups of wine from a flowing spring, which will neither cause them giddiness nor affect their sense. And they shall present before them every kind of tasty fruit, whichever they may choose; and the flesh of fowls, whichever they may desire. And for them there shall be beautiful-eyed houris, as lovely as well-guarded pearls. All this they will get in reward for the works they had been doing in the world. There they shall neither hear idle talk nor sinful speech. Whatever they hear shall be right and proper.

First of all - calm down, you can't concentrate when you're worked up like this. It's perfectly normal, and healthy, to question beliefs - you will either come to believe them more, or to reject them - it's a healthy part of life. Don't be scared of it. Websites may not be the best idea; they tend to be biased. If you want though, you could try www.bbc.co.uk/religion; they might have something. Message me if you want more information - I recently studies it as part of my philosopher course, so when I find my notes I can give you some key people and ideas to look up. Good luck, have a cup of tea, and maybe talk to somebody else about it who isn't online.

No your no fool to ask the death question. The quesion is what are you going to do about it? Hell is hot mate and you can't stop yourselve from going there. Jesus died in your place on the cross. Turn to him and you can know forgiveness, and eternal life in heaven.
Death is serious without Christ read the bible

Whatever triggered this paranoia, it needs dealing with. For a Christian perspective (I know there are others) consider doing an Alpha course. As I don't know what country you are in I can't recommend a website.

No, you are not a fool at least you question your own religion. There is no way of knowing. The bible speaks of hell as a lake of fire and heaven as a golden place and its well, paradise. I'm sure there are no places on line with testamonials of people that came back from hell to tell about it.

I do understand what you feel, but you still have to focus on your life.
Live your life now, that you are in this lifetime.
Thinking about death and what will be there, will be just making your life a hell.
Focus on your life, set up goals, try to enjoy it as you could, and keep in mind, that God is Merciful.

There is no life-after-death theory. There are only religious fairy-tales.

Stop wasting your time thinking about death, and start concentrating on living.
